After many years on the road building separate, successful solo careers, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have united to form a new band with an extended pool of collaborators and friends. The Tedeschi Trucks Band is the result of their union - an 11-strong Blue band that has become a force to be reckoned with!
Appearing at the Beacon Theatre this fall, they are heading up a special concert series with very special guests appearing at each one. This show, Saturday September 26th sees them joined by funk and soul icon, Charles Bradley!
His wistful lyrics and Otis Redding infused sound perfectly chimes with Funk, Soul and R'n'B, evoking love, loss and hope but remaining totally unique, making this true journeyman one of America's most interesting and in demand singers working today.
