This past summer, The Public Theater’s inspiring new production of HAIR became the hottest ticket in town as it brought thousands together in Central Park. And on February 13th, the sun will shine ON BROADWAY for the first time in over 30 years, as HAIR begins performances at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The story of a group of young Americans searching for love and peace during the Vietnam era, HAIR is a timeless portrait of a movement that changed the world. Its groundbreaking rock score paved the way for some of the greatest musicals of our time. Now, the "Age of Aquarius" dawns again in this jubilant new production directed by Diane Paulus. Audience:  Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical may not be appropriate for young theatergoers under the age of 12. The production contains scenes that briefly depict profanity, nudity and simulated drug use. Children under 4 years of age will not be admitted into the Al Hirschfeld Theater.

Run time:  2 hours 25 minutes with one 15 minute intermission
