The concert began late because of traffic, I assume. But, it was well worth the wait!
The baritone had a few missed times snd that was a distraction fir me, but, in a space that size, it could be overlooked by most.
The young lady who play the violin was very talented and pleasing to the eye. I was honestly more eager to hear Bocelli sing, but, realize he needs a few breaks to deliver his fantastic tone.
Catherine Mc Fee ‘s voice is so clear and has a beautiful tone. She was a delight.
As the concert continued after intermission, Bocelli voice became stronger snd he became more animated.
It certainly was an uplifting combination of compositions selected for his encore! The last two,” The sprayer” and Nessum Dorma. It filled everyone hearts and the audience were in their feet instantly! San Diego certainly has an appreciative audience!

BOCELLI SAP CENTER
I wouldn't watch performance like this again - a sports center is an appropriate venue - the acoustics were subpar. That said, everyone gave outstanding performances. Andrea Bocelli's voice was sublime. I am very disappointed that no program was provided nor can I even find a reliable set list from the night's performance. I didn't take notes of who performed - I would love to know the names of the guest performers and I would love a playbill, a libretto, a handout - something that would provided the names of what was sung.

GREAT BOCELLI - UNNECESSARY ADDITIONS
An evening of absolutely wonderful musicians one of the greatest tenors of our time - only detraction was dancers who were an unnecessary distraction - not needed - the man is the star of the show!!

MORE ANDREA, FORGET THE DANCERS
Bocelli was terrific and he makes what he can do look effortless. First half of show with his solos or in duets with a soprano or with the baritone (Edward Parks) were tops. Great to see his duet with his young daughter in the second half doing Leonard Cohen’s “The Prayer.” Zucchero did a nice duet with Bocelli but his solo of “You Are So Beautiful) fell short of Joe Cocker’s version. ViolinistCaroline Campbell performed well as did the orchestra and the NC Chorus. The female plop Guest performer did okay but got screechy at times. The solo ballet dancer ad the pair dancers performing on stage during vocal performances was a distraction and te concert would be better without them.

GREAT SHOW
Excellant show. Andrea Bocelli is truly a master. The singers who performed with him, too, were excellent. His daughter Virginia is truly talented and certainly a talent to watch. The only thing I did not enjoy was the dancers. In my opinion, truly unnecessary and takes away from the singer and is a distraction. Overall, very glad that I had the opportunity to see this wonderful artist perform.

UNBELIEVABLE VOICE BUT NOT ENOUGH OF ANDREA
My husband and I drove back to Philly from New Jersey last night again!
Andrea was amazing! Not happy with his choice of songs. Too much opera.
When you spend as much money as my husband did on the tickets you want to see Andrea Bocelli sing and not others along with ballet dancers. But he was amazing!

PRODUCTION NIGHMARE
Excellent music and voice but one of the worst
shows I’ve ever seen. I guess this is why you
don’t see opera at Madison square garden
where your average fan thinks it’s ok to talk the
entire time, eat pizza boxes and get wasted on
beer. Very low class event , poor acoustics
because of an audience filled with fans that
belonged more at a sporting event and an
event staff (security and beverages that
thought it was ok to talk, laugh, and roll giant
carts during the entire performance) . Hard to
concentrate on such an angelic sound with all
the noise , cell phone dings and rings ( no you
are not allowed cell phone usage) . Left
towards the end , I prefer to listen in a different
medium. This quite possibly was the worst
produced show I have ever seen. Poor Andrea ,
such talent wasted under the direction of an
agent and management company that clearly
have decided to make music for the
equivalent of Kmart shoppers on Black Friday.
