Today is big day for Tina Fey's Mean Girls musical as it has been nominated for TWELVE Tony Awards. The musical has been nominated for some of the biggest awards on the night with the nomination for Best Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for Taylor Louderman and Best Direction of a Musical for Casey Nicholaw.
The production, which opened April 8, has also been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for Grey Henson, Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for Ashley Park and Best Book of a Musical for Tina Fey.
The musical's other nominations include; Best Original Score, Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Sound Design of a Musical, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.
