407 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036
Access Into Theatre:
The lobby is accessible from the street via a ramp and automated door into the building.
Only the right rear section of the Downstairs Theatre is accessible via a wheelchair lift from the lobby level. Because the lift is within the theatre seating area, it is not permitted to operate while a performance is in progress. Patrons who require the use of the lift should arrive 15-30 minutes prior to curtain.
The dimensions of the lift are 36" x 48" with a 36" wide entry on the long side. The lift is designated for patrons in wheelchairs only. No ambulatory passengers or "scooters" are permitted on the lift.
Please be advised that where there are steps either into or within the building, we are unable to provide assistance.
Accessibility by Seating Section
Entrance to orchestra is from behind the last row via five steps up from the lobby level. Proceeding toward the stage, there is a slight rake down one step to access each row. Wheelchair seating locations are in the right rear section of the orchestra, adjacent to the wheelchair lift.
