The Town Hall is a performance venue located in midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was opened at the beginning of 1921, and has a seating capacity of 1,500. The venue was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 by the National Park Service, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2013. It has become one of New York City's top locations for music and dance, as well as being a venue that hosts meetings, special events and presentations.

The sixteenth season of Broadway by the Year arrives at the Town Hall in New York this year. A revue of musical theatre's greatest hits, 2016 sees creator Scott Siegel concentrating on a different decade every show. The critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year features Tony nominees and winners, along with a sprinkling of surprise guests.

The Monkees

Now celebrating 50 solid years since the first airing of their TV show in America, The Monkees are back for another tour of the country, complete with a brand-new album set to be released in July, Good Times. This tour lineup will comprise the remaining members; Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork (Michael Nesmith will be sitting this one out, guys). Good Times will also feature new material written with guest artists such as Noel Gallagher, Rivers Cuomo and Ben Gibbard, with producing duties taken on by Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne fame. A new sound in the works perhaps?!

America's greatest songwriter is reborn on the stage in Hershey Felder's tour de force one man show. Tracing Berlin's life from his birth in Czarist Russia to his anointment as the USA's most popular composer, the show includes everything from 'God Bless America' to 'There's No Business Like Show Business'. Felder will be appearing at the Town Hall for one night only this June!

Although Sixto Rodriguez's music career took over 40years to kick off, 2012 saw the Detroit singer-songwriter shoot to international stardom with the release of Searching for Sugarman, a documentary movie about his success in South Africa and the fans who travelled to the USA to try find the elusive musician they'd listened to growing up in the 80s.
