From trouble to Ouroboros

Ray LaMontagne is an award-winning singer-songwriter and global festival favorite, with his husky vocals and sensual lyrics carving him a niche in a competitive genre. With an ever-growing, devoted fan base as a testament to his musical talents and appeal, there's something about Ray.

After leaving high school, he went on to work in shoe factory in Maine, before being inspired to write music by listening to a record by Stephen Stills, Manassas. His rootsy, bluegrass style has been likened to Otis Redding and Van Morrison, among others, with a gravelly, but velvety folk voice that dances expertly around earthy songs.

'Trouble', Ray LaMontagne's acclaimed 2004 debut, quietly sold over 250,000 copies, the grassroots result of listeners throughout the world hearing the New Hampshire-born singer and songwriter and telling others about him. Now he's back with his latest (and his sixth) album, Ouroboros, and back on the road! Don't miss your chance to see Ray live.

In support of this new album, LaMontagne is heading out on a long national tour that promises to please sun-drenched folk aficionados and fans of melodic and lush song-writing. Catch him live at In support of new album Supernova, LaMontagne is heading out on tour this Spring with a new show that promises to please sun-drenched folk aficionados and fans of melodic and lush song-writing.
