Why See Cat on a Hot Tin Roof?

Will manipulative patriarch Big Daddy leave his plantation to his weasly son Gooper or his handsome, alcoholic son Brick? And why doesn't Brick have a son of his own?

Hotblooded wife Maggie does her best to tempt Brick from his brooding and back into her bed. Written by the iconic American playwright Tennessee Williams, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was the winner of the 1955 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

This highly anticipated Broadway revival sees Scarlett Johansson, Ciaran Hinds, Benjamin Walker and Debra Monk tackle Williams' masterpiece under the directon of Rob Ashford. The production opened on January 17th to reviews praising Johansson's performance, her second time on Broadway.
