A feat of calculated risk remarkable bravery following the 1929 Wall Street Crash, philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr. managed to build an entire complex of buildings on the property that would attract top commercial clients and help salvage the depressed economy of the area. Part of the Rockafeller Center, Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932 and remains to this day an enduring icon that stands testament to the American Dream in the face of adversity. The Radio Corporation of America was one of those original tenants, leading to the name Radio City staying until this day, and is a worldwide attraction, staging huge music concerts, and of course acting as the home of the illustrious Rockettes.

Included on the bill are Cyndi Lauper, Cat Power and The Polyphonic Spree.

A member of iconic rock band Pink Floyd, Gilmour led the band into its most commercially successful period in the mid-70s, with albums like Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.

Never a band to skimp on ambition, Dream Theater's latest record is a sprawling concept album, running to 34 tracks. Spread over two 'Acts', The Astonishing tells the story of a band of rebels trying to overthrow an oppressive force. Lead guitarist Joh Petruci has revealed the band may well think about turning it into a Broadway show in the future, but for now they'll be playing it in its entirety live on this tour.
