The New York City Center was Manhattan’s first performing arts center and now accommodates many performing arts companies, such as City Center’s Principal Dance Company and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. It also hosts many other national and international artists. The company hosts a variety of workshops that are popular with families, seniors and schools. The New York City Center's Mainstage has 2,257 seats.

Annie Get Your Gun In Concert

Partially based on the true story of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley, Irving Berlin's sparkling musical includes such classics as You Can't Get a Man With a Gun, There's No Business Like Show Business and Anything You Can Do.

Sylvie Guillem: Life In Progress

November 12-14, 2015

One of the most talented ballet and contemporary dancers of our time is celebrated in this very special production. With over 35 years' experience in both disciplines, this production will see Guillem dance two new pieces including techne, a solo featuring live musicians on stage and choreographed by Sacred Monsters creator Akram Khan. The second work is a duet entitled Here & After with Italian dancer Emanuela Montanari from La Scala, choreographed by Russell Maliphant.
