Little Shop of Horrors

Until July 2, 2015

Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's gleefully dark musical returns to New York for a special two night revival. Ellen Greene, who originated the role of Audrey in the first New York production, and later reprised her role in the 1986 movie, returns for these performances, joined by Jake Gyllehaal in his musical theatre debut! Relive the grisly adventures of Seymour and his killer plant, in a show that boasts now classic numbers like Skid Row (Downtown) and Feed Me (Git It).

The Wild Party

July 15-18, 2015

New York City Center's Encores! season continues with a new staging of The Wild Party. A glittering but tragic love story set in the Roaring Twenties, the musical's events play out over the course of a single booze-filled night. Tony winner Sutton Foster takes on the lead role of Queenie, following her acclaimed Broadway turn in 2014's Violet.

Theatre of Nations: Miss Julie

July 27-August 2, 2015

Strindberg's provocative Miss Julie comes to the New York City Center as part of the Lincoln Center Festival. Tracing the tempestuous romance between a count's daughter and a manservant, the play's daring subject matter originally proved too much for many European censors in the 1800s and it was banned in many countries.

Natalia Osipova & Ivan Vasiliev

August 7-8, 2015

Alumni of the Bolshoi and the Mihaylovsky between them, Natalia Osipova & Ivan Vasiliev are widley regarded as leading talents of their generation. The dance superstars have now devised Solo for Two, a new show that allows them to explore the nature of contemporary dance, on their own, enthralling terms.

Annie Get Your Gun In Concert

October 27, 2015

Megan Hilty will lead this very special gala concert performance of Annie Get Your Gun. Hilty was last seen in the 2012 Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, described by The New York Times as "one of those single, golden nights, so cherished by theatergoers, that thrust its leading lady into the firmament of musical stardom." This time, Irving Berlin's 1946 classic is up for the gala treatment in 2015. Partially based on the true story of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley, expect Hilty to dazzle you with standards such as "You Can't Get a Man With a Gun," "There's No Business Like Show Business," "Anything You Can Do."
