Tickets to designated wheelchair locations for people who use wheelchairs and their able-bodied companions are sold at the price of the least-expensive seat in the house and are subject to availability. Wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities are also available at the New Amsterdam Theatre on each of our three levels: the Balcony, Mezzanine, and Orchestra levels.
A limited number of booster seats are available at the theater. Please see any usher prior to the start of the performance for information on and locations of Booster Seats.
All ages are allowed at all performances, however, evening performances are recommended for children ages 6 and over, while matinee performances are okay for all ages at your own discretion. All ages require a ticket at all times.
Emergency messages will be delivered during a performance providing that the guest's seat location is known. If you are expecting an emergency message, please leave your name and seat location with the box office upon your arrival at the theater.
Infrared Listening Devices
The theater is equipped with both an infrared listening device system and loop listening device system. Listening devices are available on all theater levels, free of charge. A photo ID is required.
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management. All lobbies are equipped with video monitors to view the performance.
Restrooms are located on each level.
