Penn and Teller's Las Vegas show has been amazing high-rollers and holidaymakers alike for the past 14 years, but now the duo have decided the time is right for a trip to the Big Apple. The indefatigable tricksters are bringing their magic extravaganza to Broadway for a six-week run this July. It will mark their first proper show in New York since a week's residency at the Beacon Theatre in 2000, and promises to be a lively mixture of their Sin City material and some older signature illusions. Expect large scale magic tricks aplenty, delivered with bombast and humour.
Alongside their stage shows, Penn and Teller are best known for their various tv projects, including Penn & Teller: Bulls**t! on Showtime, on which they debunked fraudsters and spiritualists. They also recently collaborated on the lauded documentary Tim's Vemeer.
