" If dance wasn't in my life, it wouldn't be worth living."
As the naughty boy of ballet, Paul Taylor is known for being one of the 20th century's most eminent cutting-edge choreographers, producing a breadth of work that showcased his incredible talent, never shying away from subjects often ignored by the art-form. Humorous and romantic, his compelling voice still carries on today as he creates even more pieces for his world-famous dance company and commissions works from a new generation of choreographers, continuing the legacy of modern dance.
This season, PTDC add new works to the repertoire: Sulliivaniana and Dilly Dilly from Paul Taylor, the company premieres of Diversions of Angels by Martha Graham, and new works from Larry Keigwin and Doug Elkins. Each performance is scored live by the St Luke's Orchestra!
