The Isaac Stern Auditorium is the main location inside Carnegie Hall, with a seating capacity of 2,804. The venue is named after the violinist Isaac Stern after his actions to save the hall from being demolised in the 1960s. The auditorium hosts many different concerts, recitals and other events, and is a popular location due to its outstanding acoustics.

Ten years ago singer songwriter extraordinaire Rufus Wainwright took to the Carnegie stage to recreate Judy Garland's career-defining 1961 concert, song for song, and now he's doing it again. With the help of some special musical guests, he'll be performing 'When You're Smiling (The World Smiles With You)', 'Stormy Weather', 'That's Entertainment' and many more.
