ROYAL OAK MUSIC THEATER FIRST TIME
Last Tuesday I saw Ben Harper back with his original Innocent Criminals Band for the second time. I last saw them in 1998 in an Arena Venue in Grand Rapids as an opener for Dave Matthews. They were incredible and still beyond incredible now. This time was my first time seeing a show at Royal Oak Music Theater. The Concert and the Venue itself are 5 stars. Employees and Security were professional, laid back ,and friendly. Opening acts of Jack Moves and Michigan's Volbeats were awesome too. Ben Harper came out for a song with Volbeats. Something unique with headliner playing with Opener. Humbleness is huge with me and that was excellent example. Special Thank you to Ben Harper for choosing this smaller and intimate venue. Among the best concert experiences I've had in my many concerts attended. The music itself draws special people to it and the crowd was just as great as the bands. I will definitely attend more shows at Royal Oak Theater and of course I will do everything possible to catch Ben Harper next time he rolls thru Detroit Area. ... Read more
