Orpheum Theater

Stomp is one of New York's most unique entertainment experiences. A rotating cast of eight energetic young performers create rhythms and, yes, music, with their hands and feet and all manner of noisy objects, such as hammers, garbage can lids, buckets, and so on. Their technical skill is truly awesome: this perfectly synchronized ballet of juggled sticks, drums, and what-have-you is indeed thrilling to witness. More info

New York City Ballet present more of the legendary choreographer's works, here being two contrasting and entertaining pieces united by their Italian scores. Charmed by his beloved America, Square Dance is set to Vivaldi and Corelli and links American ballet with Balanchine's more minimalistic style. Following that is Harlequinade, a vivid and exciting comedy that draws on Commedia de'll arte, to create a wonderfully fanciful and humorous spectacle that bubbles with triumphant joy. More info

The New York City Ballet: All Balanchine is a wide-ranging repertoire of classical and contemporary ballet by one of the world's greatest choreographers, George Balanchine, also the co-founder of NYCB.
