Michael Feinstein, the multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer dubbed "The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook," is considered one of the world's foremost interpreters of American standards, especially for Irving Berlin's work. His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace in London. Forty years after the legendary concert that bade a fond farewell to The Band, a very special touring engagement is set to take America by storm in early 2017! Produced by Blackbird Presents, The Last Waltz Anniversary tour showcases some of the original artists as they reunite for the first time across multiple US cities. Helmed by musical director Warren Haynes, the lineup includes Michael McDonald, Jamey Johnson, John Medeski, and Terence Higgins, all set to the original concert lineup arrangement created by Allen Toussaint. Southside Johnny, aka the grandfather of the New Jersey sound, is hitting the road with his ragtag group the Asbury Dukes, bringing the brass-heavy soul of the Jersy Shore along with them.
