2016's metal tour is here. The masked men of Slipknot are heading across the country, with none other than Marilyn Manson! Of Mice and Men round out the bill. Juggernauts of heavy metal, icons of nu-metal, Slipknot returned to the fold in 2014 with the furious .5: The Gray Chapter following a six year hiatus. Colombian actor, singer and composer Carlos Vives heads to the States for an intimate tour, following his recent hit single with fellow artist Shakira, "La Bicicleta". One of the country's biggest Latin stars, Vives first came to prominence in 1982 as an actor on the popular telenova shows Pequenos Gigantes and Gallito Ramirez, the latter of which was his first starring role. In recent years he has acted as a coach on The Voice Colombia, re-introducing his music to a younger generation. His 2015 album Mas + Corazon Profundo won the Best Tropical Latin Album at that year's Grammy Awards! More info

The legendary jazz-rock pioneers Steely Dan head out on tour this year with Steve Winwood! Formed in the English city of Sheffield, Leppard's best known album is 1987's Hysteria, which contained the smash 'Pour Some Sugar On Me', which remains their most iconic track. More info

Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy have both helped to change guitar playing as we know it. The two legends have collaborated many times over the years, most notably on Guy's 1991 cover of 'Mustang Sally'. In 2016 they set out on joint headlining tour. More info

The two surviving members of folk legends Peter, Paul and Mary have continued touring together despite the death of Mary Travers in 2009. Formed in New York City in 1961 during the American folk music revival phenomenon, the trio brought folk out from the Village coffeehouses and onto radio, paving the way forward for future folk artists Bob Dylan and John Denver. Peter Yarrow & Noel Paul Stookey are headed back on tour, continuing to bring folk music to newer audiences. More info

Alongside the likes of Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert they've successfully incorporated pop, and even hip-hop, sensibilities into the genre, and gained a whole new young generation of fans in the process. Puerto Rican rap rivals Daddy Yankee & Don Omar are famed for THAT FALL-OUT ten years ago after collaborating on their single Gata Gangster, and their relationship has since been repaired following their collaboration on Omar's 2015 album The Last Don 2. They will be playing up to the past tension between them on tour in the form of a rap battle, where fans can actually vote for their favorite artist via a special mobile web app! More info

The Brit rock progenitor is set to hit the headlines again, but this time he's setting out on tour under his solo moniker Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, a star-studded, psychedelic alt-rock outfit that's back with a vengeance. Three of the great guitar bands of the 1980s are heading out on this Rock Hall Three For All Tour in 2016. Jett, former member of The Runaways and best known from tracks like 'Bad Reputation', was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. Veteran rockers Heart joined the roster in 2013, while Cheap Trick were voted in this year.
