When Elvis Martinez first stepped onto US shores in 1993, he had little knowledge about the music world and didn't yet know how to play the guitar. With a burning determination, the now celebrated Dominican bachata crooner accepted the challenge of fronting his friends' bachata group, a decision that would one day make him one of the best bachateros of the last decade, earning him the nickname "The Boss of Bachata". Don't miss the genre-defining performer and his 20th anniversary show at NYC's United Palace Theatre this Summer!
Having honed his craft over the years, the accomplished singer songwriter and guitarist has achieved international success outside of his home country with hit singles Tu Traicion, Yo No Naci Para Amar and Lento y Suave. Thanks to his considerable charisma, spontaneity and inspiring positive attitude, the stadium-filling has forged a privileged place amongst the best bachateros in the world.
