The Line Of Best Fit
One of the foremost composers of the post-classical genre, Max Richter bends aural boundaries using elements of swirling electronica, sweeping synthscapes and classical instruments captured in innovative ways. Lose yourself in the composer's haunting reveries during a special one-night-only concert featuring his emotive soundtrack from Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta's thrilling HBO drama The Leftovers.
Together with the American Contemporary Music Ensemble, Richter will conjure the devastatingly beautiful musical moments from the show, which chronicles the impact of a global catastrophe called the Sudden Departure. After the inexplicable disappearance of 2% of the world's population, belief in mainstream religions wained in favor of cults, most notably the Guilty Remnant. Kevin Garvey Jr. struggles to come to terms with the new world order whilst trying to keep his family from falling apart.
