FABULOUS

I love it from beginning to end. Anoushka Shankar greeted the audience with devotional prayer hands. The first two songs were mellow, giving feelings of relaxation and love. By the third song the tempo picked up and soon the concert was full blown excitement. Each musician, an accomplished player in their own right, did a solo, which added to the show and Anoushka's natural humility and sweetness. The last song, Reunion, certainly reunited the musicians in how well they performed together. The final song was Anoushka alone with her sitar giving even more intimacy with the audience which was earlier established by the gratefulness she showed to her fans throughout the evening.

HALF HR CONCERT WAS DISAPPOINTING

With a heavy heart it’s just a complete disappointment as she played for 30 mins only and then vanished . It was a complete heart breaking as we expected her to play for the remaining time. The orchestra was infact a complete disappointment as it was impossible to hear them after she left. This was not known and many people who came there were in shock that she left in just 30 mins . A complete disaster !

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Everyone who attended this show came to see Anoushka Shankar. She only played the first half of the concert. It really felt like false advertising. The orchestra then performed the worst piece I think I've ever heard. I really don't know what that composer was thinking. I felt like I needed to check myself into a mental institution. The orchestra was wonderful. I enjoyed all the rest of their performance.
