A must see this month
A freezing New Years Eve in New York City is the setting of this brand new musical from Michael Fixel that takes us on a journey of hope, betrayal and illusion and the true cost of facing up to reality. With stunning choreography by Juliet Fixel and a shimmering score from David Oberst that evokes a fusion of Ben Folds and Fleetwood Mac, there's something wonderful about this production that will leave you 'forever changed'.
We join Sharon and Steven as they wait in the bitter cold to enter an exclusive nightclub where they plan to dance away the year in style. But as time goes on and the weather gets ever colder, it becomes apparent that their wait may be in vain. At the same time, on the other side of the velvet ropes, a group of homeless people begin to relay some undeniable truths about life, promising freedom if they can just let go of the world around them.
