My Big Gay Italian Funeral is the sequel to Anthony J. Wilkinson's popular comedy My Big Gay Italian Wedding. An unfortunate occasion to meet again brings the crazy characters from the original play together again at a funeral home, with hilarious and often cringe-worthy results!
Created by Anthony J. Wilkinson, the production is a comedic but heart-felt tribute to his own father, who passed away, and highlights some of the lighter moments of an Italian wake!
The play is directed by Sonia Blangiardo, a two-time Emmy award winning director and stars Wilkinson in the title role.
