BEST SHOW EVER

Saw this group in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Hotel and I was so impressed with how much they all looked, sounded and performed like the real group ABBA. They are so worth the price of admission. If you miss this show you'll miss a great one. Make a point to see it

ABBA: THE CONCERT 4-17-18 AT FLORIDA THEATRE

In my 78+ years, this was the BEST music experience EVER! An inveterate fan since ABBA’s first hit, their incomparable music still fills the soul. The closing song was perfect: Thank You for the Music! Thank you, Flirida Theatre, for this extraordinary evening; I am still reveling in the afterglow. Perfect seats, perfect sound, perfect performance! I will be at every one you can provide in the future. Jacksonville is so fortunate to have the wonderful programming you provide; please NEVER STOP. Now I’m ready to prepare for the upcoming David Foster event. WOW; what a winderful city is ours! Truly, thank you for the music!!!

A ROOM FULL OF DANCING QUEENS

I celebrated my birthday at this concert. It seemed like everyone in the room was one big ABBA family and many like myself danced in the aisles. People came in costumes. Thank you for the music

BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!

River city was packed with ABBA fans and performance didn't disappoint. Gals her great singing voices and harmonies. Band was terrific and they really put on a wonderful show that had the whole crowd dancing, clapping and yelling for more!

The most wonderful night enjoying all the songs we loved. The performers were absolutely wonderful. People were dancing in the aisles. If it comes your way and you love ABBA music I would tell you not to miss it. If it comes back here next year I would go again.

A DISAPPOINTMENT!

Years ago we had the pleasure to see an ABBA looking and sounding concert at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. We were expecting the same this New Year’s Eve. This time is was just short of a disaster. The band did not sound anything like the real ABBA and the singers were often of key. Two or three songs were just okey, the rest plain awful.

ABBA IN ATLANTA

Music was SO loud one could not hear the singers. We had to put wadded up paper in our ears to drown out the music and halfway hear the singers. The venue is nice but the presentation was awful.

LEFT AFTER 1ST HALF

I have never done that before. In fact, a large number of people left during the intermission complaining of two things: too loud, and off-key singing. You can't perform songs as familiar as ABBA's and expect people not to notice when the vocals are off-key or the timing of the music is poor. Maybe that's why the volume was so high as to attempt to cover the mistakes. Seriously, I had to wait in a line to complain how bad this performance was. I heard some people asking who they had to speak to to get their money back. The only positive aspect of this "performance" was leaving early gave us enough time to enjoy some Coolatta Gelatto a block from the theater. We didn't go expecting ABBA, but we did expect a decent imitation. The Gelatto was good.

REVIEW WHAT TITLE?

Sound system was terrible. We sat in the mezzanine and could not understand any of the words that were sung, because the base and drum volume drowned out the audio portion of the songs. After intermission, the level was somewhat better. Audience moving spot light was blinding and uncomfortable. Could not understand any of the introductions of band members and backup singers. I would not recommend this performance to anyone.

ABBA TRIBUTE

This was the only show we’ve seen this week that we walked out of. Singers were disconnected with the audience, did not look or sound like ABBA. We were highly disappointed as all the shows we have seen feature very talented and professional entertainers. I would not go back to see the performance on 11/30/23 if I was paid to. I do not recommend seeing this show unless you enjoy paying to see people who sound nothing like them sing ABBA songs while doing amateur cheerleader routines on stage.
