My wife has wanted to see Josh for many years & loved it. I loved the rock & roll song at the end w/ electric guitars & drums that was awesome. Some skits were long but I liked it because it was not the same old stuff & was different.

JOSH GROBAN RADIO CITY SHOW

I went with my Mom and Daughter for the Valentine's Day Show. We loved it!!! His voice never disappoints. It was my Daughter's first time and she became a fan. Yes there were some big hits missing but it was nice to get to know him a little better through the skits. He was funny and sweet. The band was amazing but if I had to criticize anything it would be that at times the band was too loud. I love just hearing Josh's voice.

GENIUS

I absolutely loved the show! Josh has the ability to wow you with his voice, crack you up with humor, and just help you forget your troubles for a little while.

JOSH GRBAN RADIO CITY

The Valentines Day show at Radio City Music Hall was good, except for the Bridget Elliot part. She wasn't funny and was a distraction from Josh Groban. I hope for the next 3 shows the guest stars will be better . Eyeglasses the cello player was phenomenal and even Dr Ruth was ok, but Bridget Elliot was a total 0.

JOSH GROBAN AT RADIO CITY

I would have given this 5 stars except for Bridget Everet, her outfit was just wrong and very distracting from her performance. For all of those people saying it wasn't what they were expecting, I am guessing they did not read what the show was to be about in the 1st place. This is my 5th time seeing Josh and loved the personal side that he showed with the videos, his girlfriend (who actually looks like my daughter and her boyfriend looks like Josh, so that was strange) and his love for NYC. I was expecting other types of guests though, like people he has sung duets with, so that disappointed me. Eyeglasses and his story was great! Not sure how Dr. Ruth fit in either. Overall though I totally enjoyed the show and the concept he was trying to put across. I wish I could attend the next 3 performances just to compare! Keep up the with the wonderful YOU Josh!

VERY ENTERTAINING

I really enjoyed the show but would have liked to hear a few more familiar songs, but it was very engaging.great seat, first row, second mezzanine.

JUST OK

Have seen Josh Groban in concert many times. This was by far quite a disappointment. It was a variety show and not what I would have expected. came to hear Josh sing his hits-not to see Dr Ruth or a slide show of his Girl Friend (????). Why. ? Sing your hits and not others Songs. Left feeling sad !!!

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

Josh Groban’s Valentine’s show at Radio City Music Hall was more of a TV Variety show than a concert. I love Josh’s voice and was hoping for two hours of beautiful music. Instead I got videos of Josh in Central Park surprising and kidding around with tourists. I got sex advice (!) from Dr. Ruth who was one of his special surprise guests (I was hoping for an A level duet singer). I got a ridiculous over-the -top comic /singer Bridget Everett whom I would never pay to see. I got to see a subway performer (electric cello) who was quite talented but, again, not what I wanted to experience (same for two lovely children choirs) Josh seemed to be trying way too hard to be funny, but I guess that is his personality. Sweet, endearing but I kept thinking: enough already. Yes, you’re a nice guy but sing for goodness sake. His musical team are great. When playing, they were superb. Bottom line: I wanted more songs and less schtick.

DISAPPOINTED! TOO MUCH SHTICK!

Went to see Josh Groban’s Show at Radio City Show on Feb 14th. I looked forward to an evening of beautiful music from a very talented singer. What we got instead was 15+ minutes of a stupid skit interview with Dr. Ruth, a ridiculous skit with an overweight singer/comedian running half naked around the stage and way too much talking. He did introduce us to to a 2nd year medical student from Mount Sinai Hospital, who plays Cello in the Westside Subway at 42nd St. The student know as Mr. Eyeglasses was very talented as were the choir from the Frank Sinatra Music School. He was wonderful to give these young people exposure. However I paid $185 to hear him sing not for skits especially Dr. Ruth (it was painful). What a waste of time. Josh sang MAYBE 10 songs the entire night and took a 30 minute intermission. So a lot of filler. Is he not capable of filling 2 1/2 hours with singing? He did mostly covers and a couple of his own material excluding BELIEVE and the PRAYER. The last performance of the night was an overdone too long rock song with the whole band, and him at the piano. You're not a rock star Josh. There were several complaints from audience members around me. We were hoping the 2nd 1/2 would be better than the 1st. Hmmmm. This show needs ND OVERHAUL. Fans want to hear Josh Groban use his talent and sing not do Shtick! Date of experience: February 2020 This

SO DISAPPOINTING!

So sad that this show ended up just a big mess. Tasteless special guest Bridgette Everest, 20 min interview with Dr. Ruth, and a bunch of story telling and videos. I didn't know this was going to be a variety show with almost no singing. I thought it would be a romantic evening listening to amazing songs suing by an amazing talent. Everything about the show fell flat.

DISAPPOINTED

I have loved Josh Groban for years, but this was my first chance to see him in concert. With the exception of Eyeglasses who was simply incredible, the other guests where horrible. Dr. Ruth is a lovely person, but didn't belong in this show. Bridgete Everett was horrific. I was really disappointed with the fact he didn't sing as much as I had hoped.

SADLY DISAPPOINTING

I was waiting months for this concert as I have adored Josh Groban for way more than a decade. . I had no idea for $1000 I would be seeing an over aged and untalented woman on stage to doing a most embarrassing skit with josh Groban. Not to mention that she was virtually nude and very unimpressive parts of her body were hanging out of her dress. My husband and I were humiliated for her. He sang only 4 songs before a ‘30 minute intermission’ . And why was it necessary to witness a long question and answer session with josh and Dr. Ruth about sex?. Made us question whether or not we needed to be concerned about Josh Groban’s mental state. If someone did not know of Josh Groban‘s talents, they would certainly not have been made aware of them with this display. Was he resting his voice or trying to get the attention of an acting director in the audience. I think he has one of the greatest voices the world has ever seen but we saw very little of it that day from fourth row center seating. Sadly disappointed josh. You are so much better than that show. If you needed to rest your voice in between songs or during a song you could have had duets with Idina Menzel or nettles. You don’t need to use audience participation, your voice is way more than anyone can ever ask for. Still love you josh but seriously devastated by your Valentines show at the great Radio City Music Hall.

TOO MUCH LIKE A VARIETY SHOW

We echo most of the reviews already written. Given we saw Josh Groban on Valentine’s Day, we expected to hear all the songs he made famous. Instead, most of the time was devoted to other acts. What we found particularly odd was the video montage dedicated to his girlfriend and videos of interrupting couples’ carriage rides through Central Park. While Josh mentioned the show would be different, it certainly did not capture his talent. Hopefully Josh and his producers will read these reviews and make significant changes for the upcoming shows. It’s Josh’s voice we all came to hear!!

FIRST TRY AT SOMETHING NEW

My husband and I drove up from Washington to see this first-ever unique variety show by beloved artist Josh Groban. We enjoyed the show very much but agree with other writers that the cohesiveness of the show needs work. His singing was absolutely brilliant as usual. The videos were light and fun, adding a new element to the show. Bridgett was terrible (sorry) and did not fit with the show. I kept thinking any second her dress will fly off. I did enjoy bringing up audience members to sing, Josh is very good with them, as always. Overall enjoyed the show and worth the trip, just need to better align performances with what we all love about Josh, his voice (acting and singing). Perhaps add some excerpts from favorite Broadway shows? More musical guests like the ones you included (Eyeglasses, choirs) were amazing. No matter what, you are still my favorite artist and I applaud you for taking a risk on something new!

DISAPPOINTING AND WALKED AWAY FEELING CHEATED

I introduced my dtrs to Josh as little girls. I have been to several concerts over the years and have loved each one. Last night I brought my husband and, now grown, dtrs to Radio City to hear him talk, highlight other guests, chat on a couch with Henrick Lundvist and watch him jog around the theater. He spoke wayyy to much and we are all so tired of hearing about COVID and the pandemic and how awful it was and came here to escape and listen to his amazing voice and music and got very little of that. He sang U2, Eagles and Alicia Keys all good songs in their own right but we came to hear him and the music that made him famous. We spent a lot of money and waited 2 years for this concert. We walked away feeling sad and cheated

DISAPPOINTED. NOT GROBAN QUALITY

We just left the Josh Groban radio city concert February 14. We have seen Josh 4 times and have never been disappointed. Tonight was an exception. First, Josh did not sing enough of his known standards. This first half had too many videos and not enough singing. The Dr Ruth segment was totally unnecessary. We came to hear him sing not to have a conversation about sex with Dr Ruth. I think he lost the audience after this. After intermission,Josh did sing more, but his guest bridgett Everet was tasteless. Why not have a guest who is up to josh’s standards and is clothed tastefully and can sing. Eyeglasses was phenomenal...the highlight of the show! What a talent! All in all, the production was not up to Groban’s caliber of excellence! Josh was Ill advised about this production. People came to hear Josh sing his beautiful songs. The frills were substandard and unnecessary. We still live Josh but will not be attending another concert soon.

NOT SO GOOD !

DISAPPOINTING!

I was really looking forward to this event. UGH. Josh Groban has an amazing voice but only sang about 7-8 songs in the this lengthy 3 hour show. And before you get excited about him being on stage for 3 hours, guess again. There was a 35 minute intermission which was a total buzzkill. As for his attempt at a live variety show, it could have been great if executed well, but this was bad. Really bad. He did a 20 min. Interview with Dr. Ruth which consisted of her saying the same 1 thought about 10 times and Groban plugging all her books. Worse, he later had a singer “comedian” who was eye-averting awful! (We almost left but we’re still hoping he might actually sing some songs and not just do interviews and skits). I am so sad to write this negative review but it was a colossal waste of time and money.

DISAPPOINTED

This is the first time that I attended a Josh Groban show. I don’t think he made a wise decision by having Bridgette Everette in his show. It was tasteless and not the right audience. I went to see him sing a heck of a lot more than he did. Hopefully, he will revamp the next three shows. The tickets are expensive therefore do what you do best. SING!!

OH JOSH

Sadly I get why he did what he did. Covid lots of ideas trapped in the head of a very talented and witty guy who was about to explode. I am sorry Josh, but you missed the mark on this one.

DISAPPOINTED

As other people stated - wanted to hear Josh and not listen to him talk more than he sang. Loved the music but that’s it

NOT NEARLY ENOUGH SINGING

I attended the Saturday evening production of the Josh Groban concert and bought a few orchestra seats for my family and I who are big fans. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the production. We spent 2 hrs watching a concert in which Mr. Groban sang very few songs throughout the evening, maybe 6-7 over the course of those 2 long hours with no intermission, 2 of which weren't even his songs, but songs with guests. Only 1 of those songs were in his top 20 most successful songs, and the evening was filled with guests and their acts that we had no interest in whatsoever. It would've been so much more worthwhile to watch the concert for 75 min and actually heard him sing throughout the whole evening. The constant diversions were very frustrating and we constantly waited for him to finally sing again. Had we known this would be such a variety show with so little singing, we would not have bought these expensive tickets.
