Share the magic of the silver screen classic Mary Poppins with the little ones during the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's special live HD screening of the film, with the timeless, instantly singable score performed by the ensemble in accompaniment! Written by Golden Era composing duo the Sherman brothers and Broadway musical arranger Irwin Kostal, the production's iconic soundtrack boasts beloved tunes like 'A Spoonful Of Sugar', 'Chim Chim Cher-ee' and of course, delightful tongue twister 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.
Released in 1964, Mary Poppins starred stage and screen legend Julie Andrews in the titular role alongside fellow acting legend Dick Van Dyke. It won five Academy Awards including Best Original Music Score and the Best Actress win for Andrews. The story follows the adventures of the Banks children, who are pleasantly surprised when they're new nanny turns out to be Mary Poppins, a sunny optimist with more than a few magical tricks up her sleeve!
