AWESOME

This was my first time seeing this group, so I do not have anything to compare it to, but my wife and I was throughly impressed with the show. We had floor seats and got to see it up close and personal, it was better than any rock concert I have ever been to. We already have a date to see them next year as soon as tickets go on sale. Truly amazing.

VERY MOVING & POWERFUL

Best TSO show I've been to yet, The Theme was very moving and the music and vocals were outstanding. Bring tissues.

BEST EVER!

Best Concert or Event I’ve ever seen! This was my first time to see TSO, I’ve wanted to over the past decade or so when I learned of them. I had a pretty good idea what TSO was, but never experienced in person. I’m a musician & FOH (front of house) engineer for local & regional events. I must say this was the best concert I’ve ever attended, hands down! The show was over 2.5 hours & went by quickly, this was their 25-year anniversary! There was not a bad seat in the house. Sightline & visibility was wide open due to their stage layout & design. World class musicians, running around and having fun for/with the crowd. It seemed sincere and real, they weren’t there just putting in time, they were fired up & energized putting on the best show possible. From a technical standpoint, the cleanest & most aesthetically pleasing stage I’ve ever seen. This means super clean, no mess, no cables, no crew members visible. Amazing visual in every way, the lighting was huge, and they set a mood with every change and lighting scene. There’s a lot to take in and see - many moving lights, giant led screens, moving trussing / platforms, fog / haze, low lying fog – dry ice, fire, incredible lasers, snow / bubbles, pyro spark burst, moving riser platforms over the front audience performers were on for various songs. Big Kudos to all of the crews, stage, techs, FOH, lighting and whoever programed everything! The audio was outstanding in every way. Speaker arrays were flown and out of the way, with small front fills for folk on the floor. Coverage was great, the quality of the audio was unmatched. Exceptionally clean & quiet & during soft passages, thick, meaty & crisp during the rocking songs. All instruments & vocals could be picked out of the mix, it was extraordinarily transparent. It was in your face, but not at all abrasive or too much. All of the vocalist, sting section, musicians were awesome, a huge bonus for me was seeing Jeff Scott Soto! I didn’t realize he was part of this tour! An overall assault on your senses, there’s a lot to take in! The massiveness of the production visually and audibly is amazing & extremely impressive! I recommend it to anyone that loves Christmas, great musicianship, fantastic over the top production! I will be back next year.

I THINK YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND IF THE TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA EXPERIENCE TURNED YOU OFF.

Let's get something straight yes it is a rock show for Christmas. Put on by the members of Savatage a heavy metal band. So it may not tickle you fancy if it's not tame enough for you. Just don't go. Everyone one on here complaining starts with this was my 7th show or my 5th show. And all the sudden complain. Try something different but don't turn away fans. Because you weren't writing revues like this the first shows you went too. You were bragging to others to go!. Oh and by the way Christmas in seriavo is not a trans Siberian orchestra song. And and a few others played during there show aren't. There Savatage songs. Do your homework before going. And all the singers on that stage are excellent. I'm a musician and the guys and girls on that stage are some of the nicest and talented people you can ever meet. And they'll let you meet them after every show. So if it sucks tell them. stop hiding behind your computer. Putting down one of the biggest grossing concert in the world.

FIRST-TIMER, EXCELLENT SHOW!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed TSO. We had no expectations, so we were very surprised with the enormous scope of it all. Several moving stages, top of the line musicianship, fabulous light-and-laser show. My wife, who is not usually impressed with concerts, was spellbound. We're older folks and have seen quite a few concerts and shows. Frankly, even though I bought all the Mannheim Steamroller albums through the years, I was much happier when I left the TSO Christmas program. We'll be back next year.

A DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS STORY.

I've been to so many TSO Christmas concerts that I've lost track. Needless to say, I love TSO and they are now part of my Christmas tradition. The Lost Christmas Eve story is somewhat of a bummer, and the music to this story isn't quite as moving as Christmas Eve and Other Stories(hence the 4.5 stars), but the show itself makes up for it! They blew our socks off at the Verizon Center! They are high energy and uplifting! They will always get my Christmas $$$ as they are the few that still put Christ in Christmas...you will never hear Happy Holidays at their concerts! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CROWD EXPECTATION

As far as talent is concerned...10 on a scale of 10...NO DOUBT! These people are GREAT! However they may need to learn a little Humility, there were several request for the audience to respond to what they were doing on stage...well, the crowd at Sprint was very sophisticated...I mean they were not just going to give up free responses, the band has to earn it..and Frankly at times they were not earning it. Lots of "Cocky" posturing all night, it seemed as if the crowd wanted to show more appreciation but the moment was often lost in the mist of the band's "Self Love". The show was a little long, however if they had thought of having an intermission time, it would have been a lot easier on audience to set through. Other than that the music was GREAT! 4 star!

THIS YEAR'S PERFORMANCE WAS LACKING

I've seen this production seven times and have always left so pumped up, but this year, there was something lacking. There was not as much interaction with the audience as in the past and the spirit of the performance was lacking. First half is usually the Christmas portion which was awesome with a grand light show. The second half is usually their time to really rock, which they did not do this time. All and all, I was disappointed as I know what they are capable of which is a lot.

DREPESSING

This was my first time seeing the TSO. I was really hoping it would lift my spirits. I was wrong. The first half of the show, the Lost Christmas Eve, was incredibly depressing. The light show was impressive and the band members were very good but the theme was awful. Not at all what I was expecting. Will never go again.

TEMPOS REALLY DRAGGED

3rd time seeing a TSO Christmas concert. Never saw the Lost Christmas so was looking forward to it. By and large a fun evening but the tempos that they set for the songs w/lyrics were set so slow the evening got to be boring.

I JUST CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD...AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

My husband and I, both in our early 40s and musicians ourselves, were really disappointed by the Philly show. We were expecting to see an ORCHESTRA...not the attention seeking guitarists, soloists and electronic violinist that had us grimacing through most of the show. We are pretty positive that most of the images used in the "castle"graphics were direct copies of concerts from the '80s, in fact, the whole show had this early 1980s, raspy untrained vocals, oddly dressed, televangelist narration, crazy flame throwing, wild attention seeking guitarist, Milli Vanilli vibe. I had a hard time not laughing through a lot of it and my husband nodded off during the painfully boring solos. It was WAY over the top in every respect including the flames, computerized light show and the robotic hair whipping backup singers. I mean, what? You want to see a GREAT rock orchestra go to see Peter Gabriel and the New Blood Orchestra. THAT is a truly awesome show not TSO. So painful to the senses!

DISAPPOINTED

This was our 4th trip to see TSO at the AA center and always looked forward to it. Tonight was a different experience. I'm not sure where the story line was coming from. A angel, a bar, multiple countries in the mix. Long winded solos. Dont get me wrong , I can appreciate their talent. The runaway girl story was told well and tugged at my heart stings. It was very much missed this year. Sorry TSO...not sure I will make it next year.

NOT WHAT I HOPED FOR

The beginning was slow and the storyline lagged. Lights and visuals were pretty but the vocals were overdone and not clear. The drummer was a standout artist but the violinist and guitarists were more about the dramatics and visuals than their sound quality. This show was not half as good as The Lost Christmas.

JUST DISAPPOINTED

Wow thought I was going to see great Christmas music and heard more off the wall hair slinging music. My wife feel asleep 3 times. We have been looking forward to this disappointment. The guys just sling hair up and down and girls from side to side. 5 sounds were good the rest was shit. What the hell was the big box that blocked our view it was just stupid. Waste of $400. Please change this crap next year. You guys and girls sucked.

I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED IT BETTER, IF YOU COULD UNDERSTAND THE "STORY?"

I really don't see what the big deal is about TSO. I've heard about them for over a decade.... finally pay (way overpriced) tickets, got great seats, but nothing made sense. LOTS OF BACKING TRACKS being used. (I'm in media production and can easily tell there was a TON of backing tracks.) $30 dollars for parking? At an arena built with my Taxes? - No reason to ever see them again. - it was a farce. - Oh, and I REALLY enjoyed everyone sitting around me taking their face masks off, and being excited about it. - Since I was schedule for surgery in a few weeks, getting covid would have sidelined my whole schedule for six months. - But morons will be morons. They seemed to like the show though. Oh, btw.... PUT YOUR DAMN CELL PHONES DOWN. Why pay so much to watch the show on a 4 inch screen and my view was then filled with cell phones. - Complete sh*t show.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Detroit concert Dec 28th was a huge let down and not worth the 97 mile drive it took to get there in snow. To religious, in 2 hours they played 1 of their album songs everything else was either hyper religious songs that most people never listen to unless you go to church. Or a bunch of no name singers shouting to the world "Hey I can sing!" When in reality only 3 of them could actually sing. This was the first time I ever saw them in concert and I'll never go again.

WORST TSO SHOW WE'VE EVER SEEN--DEPRESSING

we have seen 12 of the last 15 shows TSO has put on in Philadelphia and this was a gigantic disappointment compared to the previous performances. The story line was a depressing discord about a father losing his wife after giving birth to a mentally challenged child. NOT the best way to convey Christmas cheer! We went expecting the Christmas music that made them famous and got two of those songs. The performances does not include the female performers like it did in the past and the show suffers for it. The departure of Danielle Lander and Jennifer Cella has hurt this band immensely. Until they get back to their traditional Christmas performances we will not be wasting money on these overpriced tickets again.

DEPRESSING AND BORING

Very disappointed with the performance. this is our 12th show in 15 years and sadly will probably not go again unless they return to the real Christmas format that made them great. No one wants to hear about a wife that hemorages to death leaving a mentally challenged child abandoned in a home. This does nothing to uplift Christmas spirit! Hardly any christmas music we have come to enjoy over the years, the female lead songs have all been removed, and most of the good female singers (Danielle Lander, Jennifer Cella) are gone. Don't wast your money, Will never go back

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Attended last 7 Christmas show but dissapointed with this years perfornmance. I was hoping for the original Christmas Eve but this was not to be. This performance was very depressing, props included gargoyles or dragons spitting fire (great for Halloween). We left halfway through the show as it became painful to llisten to. We noted many others leaving too. We regret wasting our time and money. Past shows lleft us upbeat with increased Christmas spirit. Missed seeing regular remale vocalists. Perhaps it is time for them to give it up...they had a good run.

BORING!!

Cheesy and boring, I am terribly disappointed. A waste of money.

DEPRESSING ,ASSAULT ON THE SENSES, SEXUALLY SUGGESTIVE

Greatly talented musicians, but very dark and depressing story . Maybe 10% of the songs were about Christmas. The rest was dragons , dark and strange. The dancers were ok at first but quickly started to look like a troop of strippers hanging onto poles and whipping their hair around to the extreme throughout the whole show. sexually suggestive video of women dancing around a piano player in their lingerie. The main woman in video is the same one that was earlier called a little girl, very strange. We will never go again.

SAD

This is not a orchestra, it’s a rock band who sticks the orchestra in the back where no one can see them. The end was demonic and it looked like you were in hell. The young girls on video in their lingerie was sick and if you couldn’t pick up the spirits then please don’t say you have God living in you.

TSO 2021

Left after hour and 15 mins. No good energy, I've been to several shows over past years. The stage set was bad and performers were lackluster. Waste of money and time! It was just bad.

THE LONGEST 3 HOURS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE

Cringe-worthy, not enough wine or weed could ever make this experience tolerable. It was bad, really bad from the very first moment. My friend, an enthusiastic fan for many years, bought me a ticket and I had no expectations, but I'll tell you this, unless you still really LOVE 80's hair band rock, you will be tortured by the music, the ridiculous imagery, the lame pyrotechnics and the fact that what could have been a potentially tolerable show at say, 45 mins duration, dragged on and on and on for nearly 3 hours of just pure torture. I was fantasizing about poking out my eyes with hot pokers or drowning myself in the public toilets just to make it stop. It was unbearably painful to sit through. I didn't want to insult or disappoint my friend who enjoyed himself immensely. I was also honestly just so embarrassed to be there. It is so true... that you either love it intensely or hate it with every fiber of your being. Maybe go, to see which camp you fall into... Good luck!

1.0 star rating Andrew from Indianapolis

AWFUL SHOW

This concert was awful. There is nothing "orchestra" about it - just a few guitarists and vocalists who aren't good enough to be in real bands. And the light show is over the top - just flashing extremely bright lights for the first few songs over and over that had most in my section looking away. We left halfway through.

NO GOOD
