As expected Brit Floyd again was flawless. The new light show mesmerizing .
These musicians are all at the top of their game. Great gig in the Sky was sung
to perfection. A must see show start to finish.

BRIT FLOYD - IMMERSION '17... & CONTINUUM OF PINK!
Wow! we saw PBS & thought they'd be 'Good Live', but had No idea just how Good! Decided 2 'Do-It-Right' & went VIP... gifts@door/'Sound Check'/Meet & Greet Band/ Best Seats! Sound check= 2 songs not in the show (nice Bonus), then as they exited most of them shook our hands & introduced themselves. We got 2 meet nearly every single 1 of them, talked w/more than 1/2 for over 5+mins each & Angela C. even dedicated her solo of 'Great Gig In The Sky' to my girlfriend! They were All very down 2 earth, unpretentious & genuine... Ian C. took extra time 2 bring most of them back over 2 sign our T-shirts.
The song choice list was like extended 'Greatest Hits' encompassing nearly any song that you wanted to hear + a few more obscure cuts that showed their True Passion 4 Pink & their Performances/Vocals/Vids/Lite Show were 'Top Shelf'! My hands hurt 4 hrs, 1of my top 3 concerts & I've seen Clapton/Stones/The Boss/SRV/Zepplin/etc
Ryan was awesome on Sax/Brass/Keyboards & he's a Packer fan! WOW!
Diane K. from Ottawa, Ontario
WAY BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!
I thought this would be a good light show, but who could ever come anywhere close to the magic of Pink
Floyd??????
Well...Brit Floyd can! It was like listening to the vinyl albums in the seventies! Excellent sound, amazing
visuals, poignant videos....I can't say enough about how you were transported back to the seventies.
Memories of that golden era having been flooding my mind ever since the show.
Not only would I recommend this show to friends of the seventies (50+), but many people I have talked about
how amazing this production was, really regret missing it.
I would return to see Brit Floyd anytime they come to Ottawa! Hurry back !!!!!
Johny V from Toronto, Ontario
BUCKLE UP...

BRIT FLOYD AWESOME SHOW
Brit Floyd put on an incredible show last night! The music was great with an equally
good light show. Highly recommended, will be there for their next show in the area.
TNT from Youngstown NY from Buffalo, New York
GREAT SHOW AT ARTPARK, LEWISTON NY
A FULL LENGTH CONCERT WITH 25 SONGS AT A GREAT VENUE. BRIT FLOYD WAS AT THEIR BEST. WHAT A SHOW!!!! AS FOR THE TWO GUYS BEHIND US ATTEMPTING TO TALK OVER A FULL STACK OF SPEAKERS BLASTING OUT GREAT PINK FLOYD MUSIC, WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY, YOU TWO ARE IDIOTS. BUT THAT IS WHAT MAKES ARTPARK A GREAT VENUE. WE MOVED TO ANOTHER SPOT AND STILL HAD A GREAT VIEW AND ENJOYED GREAT MUSIC. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE BRIT FLOYD AGAIN!!!
JR Picha from Lakeland, Minnesota
BLOWN AWAY....AGAIN
This was my 5th time seeing Brit Floyd, each show taking place at a different venue.
With that said, I believe my take on them is SOLID, seeing as venues can significantly
affect one's perception of x, y, and z. Ultimately, this band ALWAYS brings it! Their
setlist was once again varied, which is very refreshing for those who tend to see
them year after year. I've seen MANY tribute/cover bands over the years, and
honestly, BF is BY FAR AND AWAY the BEST I've personally experienced, hands down!
Pink Floyd's music/experience is not one to be taken lightly, as it's one of the most
difficult to nail, yet BF does it each and every time!! I WILL be going to see them for a
6th time, and am looking forward to that show just as much as ANY other! ENJOY!!
J. Randall Gargan from Anaheim, California
FANTASTIC SHOW!
While driving over to my house for the Rodger Waters concert June 20th
2018 my Girl Friend was nearly killed when a distracted driver driving a Ram truck
ran a
red light and T boned her at nearly 45 mpg. Well after 8 days in intensive care and
still months on the mends we saw the PBS Brit Floyd special. Needless to say she
fell into tears because she felt so bad and wanted to make my B-Day a special one.
The good PBS seats were sold out so I bought 5th row from the Greek Theater
vendor. Note for Note an amazing show. The Brit Floyd Band and Vocals did not
miss a beat! Sign us up for Brit Floyd's next Gig. After such an amazing performance
we are now big fans. My Girlfriend is still recovering but, the Fantastic Show lifted
her spirits up to the Dark Side of the Moon! Thank you Brit Floyd.
Joshua from San Diego, California
A MUST FOR ANY PINK FLOYD FAN.
Great for all audiences, guarantee a great time there
Ryan from Atlanta, Georgia
AMAZING AGAIN
My group has seen them 5 times in Atlanta and we flew to Red Rocks three weeks ago to
see them as well. Last nights show in the Fox was fantastic. Pink Floyd fan for 35 years
and these guys just do it right. Thank you to the Fox and Brit Floyd for bringing this show
to Atlanta. Will see you again next year. They added Sorrow to this years set list and it
was amazing.

BRIT FLOYD ECLIPSE TOUR PEA BODY OPERA HOUSE
SEEN BRIT FLOYD 5 TIMES. THIS WAS THEIR BEST PERFORMANCE. SEEN OTHER REVIEWS THAT VOLUME WAS AN ISSUE. THEY FIXED IT. SOUNDED GREAT, LOUD AND CLEAR. LIGHT SHOW WAS FABULOUS. HAD MORE LASERS AND BRIGHTER LIGHTS. MAY BE LED? SAW THEM IN ST LOUIS AT THE PEA BODY OPERA HOUSE. NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE AND SOUND IS VERY GOOD THERE.

BETTER THAN THE COUNTY STADIUM PERFOMANCES BY PINK FLOYD
FANTASTIC SHOW AND THE ACOUSTICS IN THE RIVERSIDE BLEW AWAY THE DISTORTION OF THE TWO COUNTY STADIUM CONCERTS PERFORMED IN THE MID 1970'S AND 1980S BY PINK FLOYD. IF YOU HAVE NOT WITNESSED THIS TRIBUTE SHOW, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING! BRAVO!
Ed Sinclair from Cincinnati, Ohio
FANTASTIC SHOW!
I've seen the real deal 5 times, Waters 3 times and Gilmour once. These guys did a
wonderful show. I'm going to see them the 11th of May in Dayton area it was so good.
All the instrumental and vocal solos were right on!! Kudos to the great gig in the sky sol,
she nailed the Clare Torry solo very well. Brought back old memories from all the
Cleveland, OH shows I saw in the past. Rock on and keep it alive!
Dave from Lexington, Kentucky
BRIT FLOYD AWESOME!!

BETTER THAN PINK FLOYD
Wow, what a great show.. The show from start to finish was fantastic. The music,
light show, presence of the band stood up to the fantastic songs that Pink Floyd has
written during the band's existence. The show covered songs from the beginning of
the band's history and later on after Waters departure. Brit Floyd covers two songs
from Water's solo album the Final Cut. The band played for about two hours
performing about 25 songs. I cannot wait until the band tours again in the states so I
can see them again. Fantastic show and highly recommended for any Pink Floyd
fan.
JD from Syracuse, New York
BRIT FLOYD IS AN A++ TRIBUTE BAND
Just a fantastic job. If you are a Pink Floyd fan (or not) you will be very happy with Brit
Floyd.
Thanks for keeping Pink Floyd's music alive!!
Chuck from Chicago, Illinois
BRIT FLOYD. !! YES!!
Show was great, brought back memories of good times. Almost like the real thing
and plenty of songs in the show. Only issue was the idiots behind us , couple girls in
their 20's yelling at each other trying to talk. Very rude. Plus guy in front of me gave
me the finger thought I was yelling him sit down during last couple songs, was guy
behind me! Anyway idiots aside, really good show.
Rosemary DeCampus from Orlando, Florida
AMAZING!
Have been to several Pink Floyd shows in 80'S and 90's.
Their show was so good it was like being at one of the
originals. At least it satisfied my craving for a live Pink Floyd
show so I think that's the best compliment I can give.
Cindy from Toronto, Ontario
PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR MIND BLOWN!
Saw Brit Floyd April 4/19 in Hamilton and we were blown away by the entire experience! They even included a couple of tracks from Animals, which almost never gets played in concerts. WE LOVED IT. The light show was out of this world, the visuals were mesmerizing, and the quality of the music was superlative. Do yourself a favour if you like PF, and see this show. Unbelievable.
Tones from Toronto, Ontario
BLOWN AWAY !
Shut your eyes and you are listening to the real thing. Amazing artists.. Musicians, singers, choreography. I imagined I was listening to the vinyl version of Pink Floyd.. exceptional detail, great vocals and back-up singers were some of the best I have ever heard. Music artistry at its fi ext. Congrats to the ensemble for a memorable. evening. Thank you Brit Floyd.
Tom from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
BRITT FLOYD MILWAUKE 4/20/2019
Amazing show. I have seen Roger Waters and David Gilmore and enjoyed those show as well but Britt Floyd is one of a kind. Ian and the band do an amazing job of representing Pink Floyd in the truest sense and also adding their own touch in a very special way. I have share with many and will with many more, this is a can't miss band and one of the best you will ever see!
Jimmy jaudon from Savannah Georgia
DON'T MISS
I was completely blown away at how good they were if you didn't know better you'd swear this was Pink Floyd playing even the vocals on great gig in the sky were perfect I wasn't expecting much but I'm glad I went overwhelming don't miss them if you get the chance
Philip from Atlanta, Georgia
INCREDIBLE
Brit Floyd is an experience from which you'll walk away and say, "that was incredible!" I never miss them when they come to town and their show never disappoints.
Phil Pierce from Huntsville, Alabama
BRIT FLOYD
Was much more than expected. Was the best concert i have ever been to.. Would highly recommend and the concert hall was absolutely FANTASTIC. Can't wait to see them again
Jon L from Vancouver, British Columbia
BETTER SOUND AND LIGHT THAN THE EIGHTIES
Excellent all round performance. Why would someone in the front row in another review leave . How did they get a front row seat. Plus Floyd music is all about hating privileged pricks.
Eddie from bardstown from Louisville, Kentucky
BRIT FLOYD
An amazing performance. Top notch!!
Butch from Hershey, Pennsylvania
CLOSE YOUR EYES AND RIDE THE WAVES
The show itself is a spectacle with screen animation, lasers, strobe lights, smoke, etc. Marvelous. Hearing the catalog of songs from Syd to David, Roger, etc is even more appreciating of the effort these PROFESSIONAL MUSICSIANS put in to bring out the best in their approach to transparent sound and quality. I've seen the original but this is by far the best group that does not mess around with anything more than bringing the feel, sound and love of Pink Floyd to the audience. The respect they have to the originals shows in their performance(s).
Sean Doyle from Boston, Massachusetts
BRIT FLOYD IN BOSTON
Saw Brit Floyd in Boston at the Orpheum last night. It was a great show. From the light show to the set list, they’re spot on!
Joe from Toronto, Ontario
NEVER DISAPPOINTED
Seen the band several times in several cities over the year. They never disappoint. Thank you once again. Looking forward to your return to Toronto.
Kim Crudo from Detroit, Michigan
EXCELLENT SHOW
This upcoming April 2022 show will be the 3rd time seeing Brit Floyd. Very entertaining, excellent sound, awesome stage presents. Sit back and get taken into the Pink Floyd World.

THE REAL FLOYD
Must See & Hear For Yourself
To Believe Their Show!
Saw Brit🇬🇧Floyd in July ‘19 @ QE
& you if didn't know better, it was Pink Floyd!
Since the QE was renovated not that long ago I would definitely say it’s quite possible the theatre experience with great seating & fantastic optimized sound was as good
if not equal or better than a Pink Floyd concert in any of their mega cold concrete stadium venues with Grand Canyon echo!
Without a doubt one of the best live musical shows ever, Brit🇬🇧Floyd absolutely deserve all the accolades & the return experience!
👍🏼👍🏼
Tom from Corpus Christi, Texas
TWO BF SHOWS SEEN, BOTH FANTASTIC
Brit Floyd has hit the pinnacle of tribute bands. They sound and act the part. Now that I have enjoyed two Brit shows I'll keep coming back to see BF, Love Floyd, I had seen two PF shows in the 70's and now we have Brit Floyd to have fun with. The lights show and videos were classic Floyd fun. No need for any wild wood here. LOL

BRIT FLOYD
You will not find a better Pink Floyd show!

BRIT FLOYD- TOP OF THEIR GAME!
4th time seeing this amazing group in SD. Every musician is so accomplished and skilled. Damian Darlington may be the greatest guitarist on the planet and how can you not get chills when Eva Avala wails "Great Gig" to a standing ovation. The light show is always great and the Pink Pig speaks volumes.
Jack D Doyle from Reno, Nevada
BRIT FLOYD
Totally immersed into the show, Brit added their artistry to extend original to even more emotionality.. Never miss their appearance here.
Rick Cavallaro from Mountain View, CA
IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE I'M RECOMMENDING A TRIBUTE BAND, BUT...
...they're simply astonishing! It's almost hard to believe it's not Waters and Gilmore on stage. Their voices aren't just great, they sound exactly like the originals.
I've seen them a couple of times, and when they're back I will definitely see them again. I just can't recommend highly enough.
Terry Beal from Knoxville, Tennessee
RUN LIKE HELL TO THE NEXT BRIT FLOYD TOUR DATE
If you're a fan of Pink Floyd, and who isn't, just go see this show. I don't care what you have going on that night, cancel your plans and get tickets to this show. The band is amazing, and the show is sensational. Thanks to Brit Floyd for including us on their tour and the spectacular Tennessee Theater for hosting. Can't wait till next time!
Jeff from Knoxville, Tennessee
I'VE SEEN PINK FLOYD AND BRIT FLOYD
After seeing Brit Floyd I feel as through I got a broader view of Pink Floyd. I have seen Pink Floyd as a band, David Gilmour as a band and Roger Waters as a band but feel like I really heard a broader selection with Brit Floyd. I now see why this production is so popular. During this 2022 US tour I actually saw them twice and there were others that I met who saw them at more than one venue. So, if you get a chance, see this show. They are hard working, very talented, PF fans and great people too. See you next time Damion and Ian.
Thomas from Independence Missouri
BRIT FLOYD
I've been every year since they been coming. Awesome show look forward to seeing it each year got about 13 years running except for covid. EXCELLENT
Paul Goodman from Vancouver, British Columbia
FANTASTIC SHOW.
Fourth time I have seen this band, easily the best.New numbers, new light show, new laser show..
The ending when the ball came down fron ceiling was spectacular.
Barry from Edgerton, Wisconsin
BRIT FLOYD OUTSTANDING.
Last night's show in Madison was simply magnificent. Just when I think they can't get any better, BAM!, they do just that. Last night was my 5th time attending one of their shows and it was the best one yet. Don't get me wrong, each show has been outstanding. I just don't know how you can improve on perfection, but yet they keep doing it. Brit Floyd is a must see for any kind of Pink Floyd Dan, whether casual of die hard.
John B. from Ottawa Canada
ANOTHER BRICK IN THE ALMOST TO GOOD TO BE A TRIBUTE BAND
Saw them in Ottawa. The show was amazing ( as I expected and remembered from their last visit ). They played the songs I remembered and wanted, to perfection. They threw in a couple I had forgotten about but, loved hearing again. Very professional and tight arrangements and the girls, special shoutout to Eva Avilla, were terrific. ( Yes I saw a couple of walk-outs but, when you cannot shut up and get loud because your camera isn't working but, the alcohol you smell of is, you won't be missed. ) Hope BF comes back sooner rather than later. I highly recommend you see them.
Randal walls from Bangor, Maine
CRAZY GOOD
Sound, vocals, Back up singers, everything was awesome. Lights only added to the pure talent theses folks have.
Curt Diepenhorst from Grand Rapids, Michigan
WAS IT BRIT FLOYD OR PINK FLOYD?
Unbelievable performance, 3+ hours, talk about getting your monies worth! They played ALL our favorite Floyd songs, 2 sets worth. I don't have words to describe how flawless and tight they were! GREAT musicians! Talk about goosebumps. I'm a drummer by heart and the sound of the drums all night made me melt. ALL the instruments sounded great, ALL vocals were dead on, and the light show and visuals were spot on and well choreographed. I couldn't endorse this enough. Check them out the next time they're in town, you won't be disappointed!
Ron from Fort Worth, Texas
GREAT SHOW
This band as close to Pink Floyd as it comes, from the band to backup singers, these performers portray excellence in their crafts!!!
Sonja from Denver, Colorado
AMAZING SHOW
Every song played to perfection and a view that can't be beat! Great Gig in the sky just WOW!! Goosebumps....
David Magee from Pottstown, PA
VERY GOOD SHOW
We saw the show up in Bethlehem and they rocked it, LOUD. They played the usual mix of Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and The Wall along with stuff we didn't know from Division Bell. With a 2.5 hour show they missed the early stuff, See Emily Play and Free Four plus what about Learning to Fly or On The Turning Away?
As for what they did play, very well done, excellent lighting and great sound. And the young lady that sang The Great Gig In The Sky got both standing ovations, 1 when she sang it and 1 when they introduced her to us. Her performance was very powerful and spot on. I've seen both Roger Waters and David Gilmore in concert and this show is close, real close to the real thing.
Will I go see them again, NO, I've got other bands to see before my "80 years with luck or even less" come to an end. Will I recommend a friend see it, YES.
Word of warning, take ear plugs, they're really loud.
Scott Dallas from Baltimore, Maryland
BRIT FLOYD- LYRIC THEATER- BALTIMORE 4-26-2018
I loved our seats for the Brit Floyd tribute show. Front of balcony gave us clear view of
the band and excellent angle for the outstanding light show. The band quality was
consistently fantastic and featured multiple virtuoso leads on sax, guitars and keys.
Vocals were clear and true to the original- loved the girls singing backup, especially their
feature songs (I'd have loved to hear "great Gig In the Sky"). BRAVO !!
from Chicago, Illinois
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BUT LACKING ADEQUATE VOLUME!
Did the landlord limit the volume allowed for the concert? The entire concert
was played at about a 5 out of 10 on the volume-scale with many people
shouting "turn it up" throughout the evening. With music of this type and
quality, it was really frustrating listening to the whole thing as if my parents
were entertaining in the living room! The level of volume was really
disappointing and the only reason this is a 4-star rating and not a 5-star.
This was my second time seeing Brit Floyd and their performance again met all
my expectations! The guitar riffs, the singing and the back-up vocals exceeded
my expectations. The evening's best was a riveting rendition of Great Gig in the
Sky where their back-up, female vocalist brought-down the house in a bone-
chilling and breathtaking display - hitting each and every note on the money! It
rivaled the original score and left the place in awe and earned a roaring
standing ovation! Other popular scores were great too!
Fix the volume!!!
Greg from Toronto, Ontario
BRIT FLOYD
Lights production sound top rated. Act 1 voluume was not adequate, Act 2 much louder. Much more Wall in this show as 40 yr tribute. Missed Money, but these guys are all top noch. Must see if you can.
James from Charleston, West Virginia
FANTASTIC BUT..
Not one song from Animals. And for some reason they did not perform Great Gig in the Sky? They veered from the set list they have been performing in shows past during this tour.
Bass player/vocalist Ian Cattell did perform with the band last night either.
This band is so awesome. They have set the bar so high that I was somewhat disappointed last night.
We’ll catch them next time but last night was my least favorite show in my opinion.
Kelly from Dallas, Texas
GREAT SHOW BUT…
It was a great show and will see them again if they come through town. But remember they are a tribute band and not perfect as was the case last night. In the encore while playing Run Like Hell they forgot the last verse verse and sang the first one twice. Or political correctness got to them and couldn’t sing in back seat trying to pick her locks going to send you back to mother in a cardboard box. Other than that great show.
Jay from San Diego, California
BRIT IS FLOYD- PAR EXCELLANCE
4th time seeing this incredible group. All super musicians!! Damian Darlington may be the BEST guitarist on the planet!! Light show gets better every performance. Solo sax musician (missed his name) "US & Them" was phenomenal! Only demerits: missed seeing the Floating Pink PIG. "Great Gig in the Sky" should always be a SOLO. 4 3/4 stars overall. Look forward to their return to San Diego in 2024!!!
Andrew Blair from Cincinnati, Ohio
GREAT MUSIC... VERY POORLY MIXED
Had so much bass it muddied everything up. We were in section 100 row i around seat 17-20
Great band... but would have been more enjoyable if the Bass had been reduced 20%
I've seen them before.. so i know whjat a proper mix should sound like
Gilmore Waters from Kansas City, Missouri
GOOD AS WE CAN GET
Good venue, 2500 people, loud, good light show, first 1/2 hr slow as they played Dave's old stuff until Dogs kicked in. After the break the show rocked. Never enough time for every thing but Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, and Great Gig were fun.
Gerry from Spokane, Washington
BRIT FLOYD AT THE PARAMOUNT JULY 2018
As always, Damian Darlington and all the band that make up Brit Floyd did a phenomenal job in performing awesome music, presenting the light show, and delivering a very worthy tribute to Pink Floyd and keeping their music very much alive. Once again, The Great Gig in the Sky brought the house down. However, I thought the acoustics were very poor. Too quiet for the first few songs, then over-amped as the show continued. The drums were too loud, drowning out the great guitar work and vocals. Must have been only a cursory sound check before the show. Very poor definition and imaging, and even some distortion. Please do better next time (I will be there!).
Kiwi from Toledo, Ohio
NOT LOUD ENOUGH !
Fourth time seeing this amazing band in Toledo, but this show lacked the dynamic
punch the previous shows had in abundance. Better lights and a couple songs i
hadnt heard before, but that spinetingling feeling driven by in-your-chest impact just
wasnt there. Damiens guitar is still one of the best, Ians bass guitar is still loose, slow
and boomy.
Good "great gig in the sky" but Emily Jolands does it best, and i was really looking
forward to hearing her again. Dynamic punch plays a big hand in how this vocal is
perceived and this one missed because it was not loud enough. Everyone around
me was yelling "Turn it up !" all night.
The Stage was moved to the halfway point in the Huntington arena, and there were
still empty seats, so maybe Toledo is turning into tone of their smaller venues.
Understandable if everyones heart was not quite into it !
To me this was about 70% of the best Brit Floyd can be !
Jo Jo from Detroit, Michigan
BRIT FLOYD - DETROIT
The band was good but they missed the boat. Only 3 stars as they didn't play a lot of the great classics; many of the others they could have kept out ....Missing Shine on you crazy diamond, welcome to the machine, Us & Them, Hey You, Learning to fly.
Nick from Vancouver, British Columbia
AWESOME SHOW, BUT TOO LOUD FOR VENUE!!
Our 4th time seeing Brit Floyd live, this was the best show musically and visually but too loud. We like our music loud, but some people around us in the Balcony complained and a few as in previous shows on this tour left......
John from Akron, Ohio
AKRON SHOW REVIEW
From a music quality perspective, the show was tight. The light show fantastic. But there was little to no interaction with the audience. Plus, when I go to see a cover band, I am expecting them to play the original bands hits. Only about 1/2 of the songs they played were hits. The arena was about 70% full.
Victoria from Dayton, Ohio
BRIT FLOYD
I have now seen Brit Floyd 3 times. They are amazingly talented, however the song choices are awful. The first time I saw them they were excellent playing majority big hits from the band. Two out of three times now I have witnessed music I have never even heard of. They had a sold out show and chose to put everyone to sleep after the break. It SUCKED! I wouldn't waste my money ever again to be disappointed like that. My advice....stay home with youtube instead!!!
Stefan from Seattle, Washington
AMAZING SHOW! TERRIBLE VENUE!
First of all my first 2 Brit Floyd shows were absolutely incredible! Normally we get to see Brit Floyd at the Paramount Theater with all the epic lights and vocals. It's really mind blowing! My brother and I were sorely disappointed with the outdoor show. You could barely see the lights because it was so bright out, and many of the staples that really kicked them over the top were removed. The volume was too low so you could hear everyone talking around you (drunkenly) over the music. The chairs were these little tiny very uncomfortable wedding chairs zip tied together and we were crammed in like sardines. We were so disappointed because we had talked up this show to our significant others and it was their first time. We both decided we will never see the outdoor show again. Hopefully in the future they go back to the Paramount so we can see the incredible show that is Brit Floyd!
Alexander Thiele from Houston, Texas
REALLY A LET DOWN
Pink Floyd recorded for about fifty years. They started out as a dance band. Their catalog is stuffed with articulate pieces of guitar, piano and all the sound effects that made them into one of the greatest rock bands in the world. Their songs were about life and astronomy....
It is truly a shame and practically an insult that the tribute bands basically only play the psycho babble of the Floyd's later years at a painful, near heart attack inducing threshold of sound and light. The video they use is appears to be designed to produce the greatest sadness of insanity, starvation and general hopelessness.
Somehow they do not even play Astronomy Dominie, one of the signature contributions of Syd Barrett... and the really super pieces of blues...Atom Heart Mother, Cymbeline, Any Color You Like , pieces of Echoes...
The young women who sing Great Gig in The Sky are the ones who save the concert and at least provide the ticket buyer with the feeling that their money was not wasted.
Tony No Balony from Clearwater, Florida
BRIT MISSED THE MARK - OBSCURE TOUR, NOT PURE
Seen these guys many times but was thoroughly disappointed with set list, just like Gillian’s island, they seemed to get lost on their three hour tour.
After you have not toured for a while every other song should be a fan favorite, not thirty minutes of a planetarium light show with unknown content.
Aussie Floyd, please renew the faith in September.
Laurie from Reno, Nevada
TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME
Saw this show for the 3rd time last night. They were obscure and played off the mark. I treated family to the show and felt bad for taking them. The show went on for more than two hours and was still going when we left. They played what sounded like endless music I’ve never heard. Barely any hits and I actually wanted to go home and go to bed. They put me to sleep. Unless they realize that there tweaking of the show during Covid was a total flop and swear to never do that again I will not go see them again. BORING & DISAPPOINTING. Thumbs all the way down!! And GSR WTH…..it was 90 degrees in there showroom the whole time.
Nao West from Vancouver, British Columbia
THE SHOULD BE CALLED BRIT LOUD INSTEAD OF FLOYD
They cranked the sound up to stadium level in a 3000 seat theatre. The drummer was way too loud. You could hardly hear the backup singers because they were getting drown out by the sound. I left after an hour.
Victoria from Dayton, Ohio
DISAPPOINTED
I have seen this band 3 times now. I discovered them on a PBS broadcast and the first time was absolutely amazing! The last two times I have been very disappointed in their set list. It was a sold out show at the Rose Music Center this last time. It will be the very last time I waste my money. It's not that they aren't talented. They are a very well trained group. But when you put a whole venue to sleep with unrecognizable songs that's a crime!! Pink Floyd has so many wonderful hits that could have thrilled the crowd! Instead we left before the encode and I wish I hadn't given them the benefit of the doubt. It SUCKED!
Robert Romash from Colorado Springs CO
WHAT HAPPENED HERE
I hit the last show at RED ROCKS 2022 and was left totally dismayed and absolutely disappointed. I have been coming here for the past 10 years. ever since they just filled half the venue.
The last show didn't have anywhere near the magic, the influence of the propriety band as before. The lights were not working and it looked like they had abandoned their fans and were more worried about packing up for the next show, just sucked. What the fuck happened here! straight up I want an answer, ya know Australian Pink Floyd is always an alternative and I have never seen a bad show there.
Michelle W from Rochester, New York
I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. IT WAS SO LOUD WE COULD NOT STAY FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW.
Perhaps I am sensitive however the music was so loud that my ears plugged and my internal organs vibrated. We simply could not enjoy the show and left at the first intermission. We were so excited but left so disappointed.
James F from Omaha, Nebraska
WE HAD FRONT ROW SEATS, AND LEFT DURING FIRST SONG
Not sure if it's the band or the sound engineer to blame, but Brit Floyd was WAY TOO
LOUD for the Ralston Arena. I go to a lot of concerts each year (I often fly to other cities
to do so) and I've never walked out on a show do to volume. It was ridiculous, and I was
afraid of damaging my hearing. Very disappointing - the show was two days before my
birthday and I had been looking forward to it for months.
Robert Szabo from Dallas, Texas
TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT
Over 2 hours of unfamiliar, obscure NON-HIT music played with maybe 2 songs I knew, and I’m a Pink Floyd fan from 1979 onwards. Finally AFTER about 2+ hours of this torture and totally pissed off they started to play a few hit songs. I got up & left with many others before an encore call. Never again. I saw the Australian Pink Floyd 3 times and they are FAR SUPERIOR to this garbage. Only wish I could get my money back 😭
Kerry Flatt from Louisville, Kentucky
MUCH POTENTIAL BUT VERY DISAPPOINTING
Attended their concert here in 2018 and was astounded by their musical talent, you literally could not tell by the sound that it wasn't Pink Floyd. I was somewhat disappointed then in the songs they played because some of them weren't recognizable. However, after attending their concert in July of 2022, I wish I had the 2018 music set again. While their musical talent hasn't waned, you could certainly tell they didnt' want to be in Louisville on this night and just went through the motions. About 2/3 of the songs they played were so obscure I doubt if Pink Floyd would even recognize them, leaving only about 30% room for ALL of Floyd's hits. The 20 minute non-sensical instrumental jam session right after the intermission was especially horrible and seemed to be a condescending symbolic F-U to the crowd. I did not get my money's worth and shame on Brit Failure for treating their PAYING Pink Floyd fans this way. I will go back to the Palace in the future, but n ever for Brit Failure!
