ABOUT THE BALLERINA DANCING ODETTE AND ODILE ON THURSDAY
I didn't know about "The roles of Odette and Odile are traditionally played by the same prime ballerina and is a testament to the skill involved in inhabiting two very different roles. " at all. Because the first Swan Lake in my life was on Jun 25, 2015 I felt they must be different ballerina after I saw on Jun 25. However, after I saw Swan Lake on 26th, I started to wondering, they seemed to be the same ballerina. My conclusion is I think the ballerina, Ms. GILLIAN MURPHY danced on Jun 25 is wonderful and successfully to play both Odette and Odile. I love her wings and bend her back when she played Odette. I love her action of legs when she danced for Odile. Ms. GILLIAN MURPHY is a very very excellent ballerina.
