I saw the world premiere at The Segerstrom theater and it was unbelievable. The story is moving and the choreography is true Ratmansky. Very difficult however the dancers have to make it look easy. Aran and Katherine were beautiful. You can feel and see their chemistry What can you say about James Whiteside other than he is explosive. He goes from beautiful sensual partnering to an unbelievable solo. Of course my son Tyler Maloney who was Aran’s best friend was amazing. Their partnering was challenging but again the chemistry is palpable. Tyler's leaps are extraordinary. He has a bright future with ABT. Both Catherine and Taylor debuted in Ratmansky’s Nutcracker World Premier as the young Clara and the young Prince.
