After a scintillating run at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego last year, Hansol Jung's acclaimed Wild Goose Dreams makes it's New York Premiere in 2018. Directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, this striking play with music crosses geographical and physical borders, telling the story of two people who must choose between love and freedom.
"Goose father" Minsung is incredibly lonely in his life in South Korea, with his wife and child now living in America Minsung escapes into the heady world of the internet to find some human connection. When he meets Nanhee, a North Korean defector who is forced to leave her family behind, the pair must battle against the endless noise of the modern world and the obsession with likes and shares, to remain real for one another. But after a life time of separation is true connection in the virtual world possible?
