PETER FRAMPTON AND JASON BONHAM

Frampton has not lost a beat! Close your eyes and it's Led Zeppelin regarding Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin experience.

A LIVING LEGEND

Mr. Frampton did not disappoint last night Northerly Island in Chicago. The man has not lost a step, his solos were frequent, vigorous, and fluid. The humble pie encore was especially rewarding. The opening acts was an average Led Zeppelin cover band, that has the luxury of having Jason Bonham on drums. He is not John Bonham by any stretch of the imagination. But certainly the only one that can claim the name. I would have preferred to hear some original compositions. But I suppose it was better to have seen them then not. It was refreshing the lead singer did not feel compelled to look or present like Robert plant. the guitar player seems to believe he is The Reincarnation of Jimmy Page. Which would be fine if Jimmy Page himself was not Still alive. I could have watched the unassuming and genuine Peter Frampton all night. He seems like a really nice man and it's unfortunate he is ill.

GRAND CASINO MAR. 2

In retrospect, the Peter Frampton Farewell Tour (he has a degenerative muscle disease) concert was fantastic. We had seen him before 20 years earlier, and his humor and love of performing are still there. "Do you feel like we do" is more like a religious experience, and just rocked the place. At one point Sarah yelled so loud he got startled and stopped singing for a second, then chuckled, smiling and continued on. When it was over he profusely thanked the crowd with what appeared to be tearing up eyes, then was helped off the stage. Wonderful experience.

GUITAR LEGEND

Peter Frampton can play one hell-of-a-guitar and his vocals are as good as ever. Hard to believe that he is 70 years young.

PETER FRAMPTON AND JASON BONHAM LED ZEPPLIN EXPERIENCE

Both were truly outstanding. Loved every minute! Lead singer for Bonham was exceptional too!

PETER FRAMPTON

What amazed me the most (beside the obvious guitar mastery) was Frampton's vocals. At 69 years old he sounded as clear and crisp as he did on Frampton Comes Alive! in 1976. Just an absolute tremendous performance; Guitar solos that were clear and so professional, musicianship that exceeded all my expectations. Going in to this concert, I knew he was ill; I will pray for his health and continued ability to play. If you are a fan, this is a must see show.

PETER FRAMPTON AND JASON BONHAM

Excellent show, it could have been 1976 the way peter played and sang, I loved it and his stories between songs, I wish he could have played for 4 hours instead of almost 2 1/2, and Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin evening is absolutely stupendous, almost the real thing, singer and band gave a fantastic performance

AMAZING ARTIST

My first concert was Peter Frampton at Madison Square Garden back in the 70' . He was amazing then, But he was even better last night in West Palm Beach, Fl. Brought some memories back & made a few new ones. Would see him in a heart beat again! Wishing him the best life has to offer!

FRAMPTON IS A REAL SHOWMAN

We saw Peter Frampton on 9/10/19 in Simpsonville, SC. My wife and I are in are in our early 60's so "Frampton Comes Alive" was big during our high school days. The show consisted of some of his hits, a few covers, some blues tunes off of his latest album and some Humble Pie. A really great mix. Interspersed were reminiscences of people and events that had shaped his career. There was a spectacular big screen projection behind the band with great camera work. What a showman! Frampton really knows how to manage a crowd and we both left feeling that he's really a decent man. Lots of self effacing humor and genuine kudos to people that meant something to him. His final words to the crowd made me misty eyed. Lastly, the PF Band is great and Frampton was generous in letting each one showcase their instrument. He's a legend and if you get the chance on this final tour - go see him!

FRAMPTON COMES FULL CIRCLE!

My very first concert was Peter Frampton 1977 where he played to a sold out Anaheim Stadium. I was only 14 years old....and to me at the time...he was a rock god! Let’s just say he didn’t disappoint last night-his playing was awesome and his voice seemed unscathed over the years. I have been a habitual concert goer over the past 40 years and have been fortunate enough to have seen all the really cool bands including g the LZ reunion in London . I enjoyed Frampton very much and wish him all the best with what the universe has in stOre for him. He’s had a phenomenal career and we will miss him out in the touring circles. Happy trails my friend!

GREAT PERFORMANCE

Somewhat overlooked because of his meteoric rise to fame in the 70’s is the fact that this is one fine guitar player. He filled that amphitheater last night with so many diverse guitar sounds. He truly loves playing the guitar.

FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE AGAIN!

He played just like he did isn’t eh 70s. He hit his notes, he jammed on his guitar like absolutely nothing in the world is wrong with him. He took me back to my youth and the happiest times I ever had. I have always said regarding peter frampton that he was just always a happy smiling guy that loved to play his music, just a happy go lucky guy. I saw him in Vegas a few years ago, he killed it, and just saw him at pachanga in Temecula Sunday sept 29 2019, he killed it again...he is a scholar and I wish him all the health and happinesses to come in the future. You rock and always will...we feel like you do!!!!

PETER FRAMPTON

Just saw Peter Frampton last night in Los Angeles still one of the greatest guitar players in the world and his voice is as good as it was when I saw him back in 1976 thank you Peter for all your music God bless you you’re in my prayers

AMAZING!

Frampton was at his best, still a gifted guitarist and entertainer. His love for performing shines though as much as it did 40+ years ago, we were transported back to some clasic Rock n Roll! Loved to see guest performers, Julian Frampton, JBLZE, and others....

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

Peter Frampton has been a shildhood hero of mine since I was 11 years old. My older brother turned me on to him. Then Frampton Comes Alive came out and changed my life. It was as if I became a man. Seeing Pete play live was an honor for me. I tried not to cry ;but, couldnt hold back the tears. I didnt cry when I saw Paul play. I couldnt contain myself for Peter. He was perfect and pretty much without flaw. The guy knows his way around a guitar neck that is for sure. His solos are spot on and his bues set was beautiful. Really great stuff. I hope his situation doesnt get in the way of his playing. He probably wont be performing but I hope he keeps playing. He is a gift to humanity. We are blessed every day he is alive doing his craft. Such enjoyment-thanks Pete.

A MASTER

I saw Peter 45 years ago ( I was two yrs old ha! ) at the Oakland Coliseum Day on the Green, he was the sexiest guy on earth and I'm sure most women would agree. He is still sexy and sweet as Humble Pie. What an outstanding musician, doesn't get better than that. He includes his bandmates and never does he take all the credit, he is a gentleman in every sense of the word. Paid his respects to people passed on in a very respectful and endearing way. Plays for a good 2 hours. The only complaint I have is you couldn't see the screen behind him if you were sitting on the left facing the stage, that was very unfortunate. Bonham is fantastic, his dad was my favorite drummer, now jason is. His band is great too. Very very good show worth every penny. I am so sad to hear he is ill but so grateful he gave us one last night of pure pleasure. Thank you Mr. Frampton!

HE SOUNDS AMAZING!

Saw Peter Frampton tonight at Meijer Gardens and he was amazing. He has medical issues and he sat for the whole concert. It did not affect the concert at all. He was funny and personable, and the songs and guitar playing was perfect. So many excellent songs, far more than I knew, that I knew. He and the band were worth every penny and more. I highly suggest you see him if given the opportunity.

UNFORGETTABLE

Last night I revisited my past, attending Peter Frampton’s sublime Never Say Never tour’s Boston performance. Frampton at Anaheim stadium, July 6, 1977, was my first concert. I was 13, a huge fan already, and allowed to attend only because my older cousin and his friends who through mad, coordinated dailing won like 9 tickets from radio station KLOS, would be looking out for me. The only thing he looked out for were the bikini clad girls with my binoculars. Thus began my lifelong fandom. I’ve lost count of the number of Frampton concerts I’ve gone to, though admittedly it’s nowhere near the “103”! (yikes) figure one of last night’s concert attendees copped to. Rest assured, Frampton, all your teenybopper fans are now women and men of a certain age - life worn, and perhaps more cultured and worldly - who are still coming to hear you play for no other reason than you are a world class guitarist and seasoned performer. This fan doesn’t get out much anymore because like you I suffer from an autoimmune condition that has destroyed the life I once took for granted. But I couldn’t miss this possibly (hopefully not) last opportunity to hear you play live, so I let my daughter who also attended dress me in a ridiculously short mini dress and short, black booties. It was fun and well worth the physical effort, as you’re not one to disappoint. No matter if you’re sitting down now, I still close my eyes and get chills hearing the distinctive, melodic riffs that I’d recognize anywhere, often emanating from the storied Phenix no less. And like all greats you pay tribute to those that came before. Closing my eyes once reminded me of a time I heard B.B. King’s Lucille crying out the Blues. There were some Segovia-esque riffs that transported me to Spain, and what?!…Tequila? Haha. You mentioned that your mother loved Hoagy Carmichael’s music, then teased that we weren’t familiar with his music. As I mouthed “Stardust”, you followed with a hauntingly beautiful rendition of Georgia on My Mind. That alone was worth the price of admission. If I never see you again live, “…now my consolation is in the stardust of…{your} song.”

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

Loved the covert. Peter still has it. What a musician. His band was great too. At 70 he still has it.

AMAZING CONCERT!

Peter Frampton has not lost a beat! He played better than ever! He engaged with the audience, cracked some jokes and played to the audience. What a humble and loving artist who loves what he does. Incredible guitar player!

PETER FRAMPTON NEVER SAY NEVER TOUR

Thank You for an absolutely wonderful concert, Peter Frampton is still a legend with skill passion and the ability to connect with his fans. He has acquired a band with such talent that matches his own , that makes the performance magical. If you can go and see this concert if you older and know the music or younger and want to experience Rock as it should be

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Great performance by Peter Frampton and his band on March 3, 2024 at the Tanger Center in Greensboro, NC. His guitar playing and vocals are still amazing. Beautiful venue with great acoustics. We sat in the Orchestra Left section and the view was great. The one thing that surprised me is that they do not have mobile camera people videoing the band to show on the screens to the left and right of the stage, so you get no close-ups of the musicians playing.
