As part of the 2018 Next Wave Festival, Australian cirque troupe, Circa, bring their scintillating show Humans to BAM this October. Created in order to celebrate our bodies and what they can do, Humans features death-defying feats as the ten-strong troupe push their bodies to the very limits.
Intended as a 'love letter to our species' Humans asks the question of how much weight can one body carry and who can we trust for support. With bodies and stage stripped to the bare minimum this really is a celebration of human endurance, both physically and mentally. With stunts that will leave you breathless, Humans discover the beauty of vulnerability.
