DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

I had never heard of Orphans, but my daughter and I both like Alec Baldwin, so I thought I'd take a chance at the last minute. We got 4th row seats! Couldn't have been better. From the moment this play started, I was completely enrapt. I can't say enough about the fabulously played characters of Philip by Tom Sturridge, Alec Baldwin's Harold and Ben Foster's Treat. I don't usually enjoy anything that is not a spectacular musical, so for me to think that this play was over way too quickly is, in itself, amazing. I would recommend this play to anyone who wants to be completely taken in by the characters, although it may not be appropriate for young children.

AWESOME ACTING BUT TOO SHORT.

I went to the play march 30th and had no idea what to expect. The acting was amazing! I was taken into the actors performances and started to forget it was a play. Tom Sturridge and Ben Foster should definitely be up for a Tony award. I would have given the play 5 stars but it was too short. I could not believe how fast it went especially for the money paid for both tickets. Overall the acting made up for everything. Highly recommended.

AMAZING

My friends and I were visiting NYC when we decided to see a play - the story of this one was looking interesting and we knew a bit of the actors; so we gave it a try. What a good and lucky choice! It was beautifully played, we went from laughs to tears within the 1.5 hour spent in the theater. A lot of complicity between the 3 actors, who all showed 3 different kinds of humor and emotion. Particularly terrific job from Tom Sturridge, we decided we'll watch all his movies after the play. The only criticism I could make is that it ended very soon, 5 more minutes to develop the future of the kids would have been appreciated. But anyway, a great moment, congratulations to the three actors - and I definetely strongly recommend this play!
