An illuminating triple bill
Lauren Lovette's La Jeune leads this mixed Fall Program from the American Ballet Theatre, alongside a to-be-announced Pas de deux and Jerome Robbins' American classic Fancy Free.
As part of a season highlighting female choreographers and creators, Lovette's La Jeune is a welcome addition. Premiering back in 2017 for the ABT'S studio company, it represents an exciting new voice and one to watch in choreography.
Humorous, energetic and adventurous, Jerome Robbins and Leonard Bernstein's Fancy Free is one of the most iconic works in modern dance. Sailors bound around Manhattan with glee on shore leave with each escapade becoming more and more exciting.
