Why See American Ballet Theatre: Alexei Ratmansky World Premiere?
Part of a mixed program
Acclaimed choreographer, Alexei Ratmansky is once again set to premiere a brand-new work with the ABT in this mixed repertory performance. Created for 12 dancers, this new piece is set to Bukovinian Songs (24 Preludes for Piano), a new work by composer Leonid Desyatnikov.
The rest of the mixed program will feature Serenade after Plato's Symposium, Other Dances, and another world premiere by French choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
