The beautiful soundtrack to award winning 1999 film The Red Violin will be performed by violist Joshua Bell. The films soundtrack gained just as much praise as the film itself and received the Academy Award for Best Original Score and a nomination for a Grammy Award.

Joshua Bell has been performing for 33 years and is a skilful soloist, recording artist and conductor, showcasing his talent all over the world. He has entertained audiences at Edinburgh Festival, the Bravo! Vail Festival, the BBC Proms in London, Mostly Mozart Festival and the Hollywood Bowl.

Throughout his career, the musician has received much positive recognition as well as awards and accolades. He and was named Instrumentalist of the Year, 2010 by Musical America, and received the Paul Newman Award from Arts Horizons and the Huberman Award in 2011.
