Celebrate the work of iconic American composer Leonard Bernstein at the grand finale of the New York Philharmonic's Bernstein festival. Esteemed conductor Leonard Slatkin will lead the orchestra as they perform Bernstein's poignant and dramatic Third Symphony, Kaddish.
An exploration of faith, peace and conflict, Kaddish draws upon the Jewish prayer of mourning and is a soul-stirring and philosophical foray into the mind of the late genius. Kaddish will be followed by Strauss' witty and humorous classic Don Quixote.
