Freestyle greats gather for this spooky concert
Freestyle is back with a bang! A celebration of the style of syncopated dance pop that enjoyed massive popularity during the 1980s, this second annual concert reunites some of the genre's biggest names, on one Halloween-themed night. Topping the bill is one of the genre's true pioneers Lisa Lisa, who together with her band The Cult jam, scored a number of big hits in the late 80s and early 90s, including I Wonder If I Take You Home, Can You feel the Beat and Head to Toe.
Joining Lisa Lisa on the night are TKA, Judy Torres, Coro, Lisette Melendez, Rob Base, Cynthia, Johnny O, Kim Sozzi and Pretty Poison, with more acts still to be announced. Catch them all at the NYCB Theatre on October 30th.
