FUN AND PROVOCATIVE AT THE SAME TIME.....

So pleasantly surprised by this production--three one-act plays, each chock full of thought- provoking dialogue and humor impeccably delivered by an all-star cast. You'll leave the theatre with plenty to discuss: the nature of psychopathology, parental aspirations for children, our rampant neglect and mistreatment of those closest to us (even while we bend over backwards for acquaintances and strangers), and how societal conventions constrain us (?unnecessarily). So much going on in 2 hrs--Ethan Coen, Elaine May, and Woody Allen- -how could you go wrong??? Don't miss it--you'll get your money's worth and then some.

MARLO THOMAS & NORA EPHRON - ONLY

Nora Ephron's writing was superb. When have you ever heard a collective audience response..."that was a good line"! Marlo Thomas-was brilliant...and was frankly...theatre history. I have a long love affair with the theatre...Kit Cornell...Helen Hayes...and Thomas rises above them all. Who knew???? THe final playlette by Woody Allen was just terrible. It was juvenile, a series of pratt falls....and old man trying too hard...and becoming vulgar...miss it if you can. KHS
