ASTOUNDING
It was apparent from the opening scene that this play was going to be powerful. Throughout the first half of the play, different characters come to life and Bradley Cooper's brilliance takes center stage. It was a real treat to watch this artist portray such pain while expressing such an all-knowing understanding of society. Go into this play expecting a master narrative about triumph and resilience, and you will be both delighted and disappointed. Go into it with an open mind and a curiosity for what the untapped mind understands better than the most learned philosophers and you will be simply mesmerized. I recommend this to anyone looking for a cerebral experience coupled with watching one of the most talented actors of our generation execute a tremendously difficult role with grace and passion.
