Why See The Cradle Will Rock?

Broadway legend Patti LuPone will return to the role that led to her first Olivier Award in this concert production of The Cradle Will Rock by The Acting Company. It will be directed Lonny Price, who also directed the Lincoln Center's recent concert production of Sweeney Todd. This unmissable is one for just one night only though!

This is exciting staging of Marc Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock will once again feature Michael Barrett as the musical director, playing the musical's score as he did in the original 1985 production.

The musical is set in Steeltown, USA, a fictitious US town where the citizens group together to rise up against a greedy businessman who has a control over the town's church, factory, press and social organization.
