A note for note, cut for cut recreation of prog masterpiece 2112
Following the disappointing sales of their previous record, Rush were urged by their label to come up with a more radio friendly album, without too many of those pesky "concept songs". Fortunately for us, Rush ignored them and gifted the world 2112 in 1976, a LP whose whole first half is taken up by the epic 2112 suite. One of the band's defining works, it stands as one of the greatest prog rock albums ever made.
Now you can experience the magic all over again with Classic Albums Live, a collective of incredibly accomplished musicians who make it their mission to recreate great records from the 60s and 70s note for note. Hear the 2112 Suite, 'A Passage to Bangkok' and 'Something for Nothing' played as if Rush themselves were up on stage.
