The Allmans were without question the first great jam band, and they took the jam to heights that it had not previously reached.

Why See The Allman Brothers Band?

The Allman Brothers Band have a 41 year tradition of blending the new and the old... playing the songs that stir our souls because they bring back so many great memories, casting classic blues tunes in a new light, and then hitting us with something completely fresh and new that is destined to become a classic.

They first achieved success way back in 1971 with the release of At Fillmore East, which was in fact not their first studio album but their third. The original line-up may have changed but their brand of blues and rock 'n roll hasn't and has earned them a place in Rolling Stone magazine's Top 100 Artists list.
