Why See John Lithgow: Stories by Heart?
One man show
Long-legged icon of stage and screen John Lithgow brings his 'tour de force' one man show back to New York, after nine years of tweaking and retooling. An ode to the art of storytelling, Lithgow includes the tales and characters that have enriched and inspired him throughout his personal and professional life.
Over the last forty years, Lithgow has contributed his talents to many avenues including acting, music, comedy and more, making him an essential presence in anything he appears in. From the silliness of Lord Farquart in Sherk to Winston Churchill in The Crown, his wily chameleon ability has earned him many accolades including 2 Tony Awards, 5 Emmy Awards, 2 Golden Globes and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Expect from his new show a rich tapestry that displays the craft and versatility of this modern American legend.
