MOVING

Very moving - portrays a human heart in the center of the history of those who have been hated and oppressed. The Acorn is a beautiful, small 200 seat theater - every seat is excellent. This, once act, 90 minute musical is a must for everyone over the age of 13!

BEAUTIFULLY COMPOSED & SUBSTANTIVE MUSICAL GENTLY DIGS DEEP

Not too many new musicals can provide tuneful music, witty lyrics, and a fascinating, original tale that goes into unexpected and fresh emotional territory. The production was first-rate, albeit on an off-Broadway scale, with richly drawn characters evolving over a period of time through song and excellent staging.. Full of warm and touching Jewish and Gay references, the play avoids sentimentality and kitsch as it rolls along seamlessly. Thoroughly satisfying & memorable musical theater with a brilliant cast. We loved this and enthusiastically recommend it .
