Gary - A Sequel To Titus Andronicus Sets New Opening Date!

The new Broadway play will now open on April 21.

Gary - A Sequel To Titus Andronicus has announced that they are pushing back the opening date of the new Broadway play. The production, which began previews on March 9m will now open on April 21 instead of the previously scheduled April 11.

The delayed opening night follows the push-back of the productions preview performances. Originally slated to begin on March 5 Gary's previews had to be delayed until March 9 after cast member, Andrea Martin (who has now been replaced with Kristine Nielson), sustained some injuries during rehearsals and had to depart the production. The cast also includes three-time Tony winner Nathan Lane and Julie White.

What is Gary - A Sequel To Titus Andronicus about?

A wrathful tale of a political coup in ancient Rome with roughly 5.2 atrocities per act, the aftermath of Titus Andronicus is where we lay our scene, where the clown, Gary, and his fellow servants are tasked with sorting out the mess left behind by this frenzy of revenge and power struggles. Being one of the few surviving, there is plenty of time for pontificating on the whys and wherefores of those in power- especially why they always leave to the little guys to clean up their mess.

Gary - A Sequel To Titus Andronicus is now in previews at the Booth Theater.
