Network Extends On Broadway!

Now playing through to April 28

After opening to rave reviews last week the Broadway transfer of Network has announced a month-long extension at the Belasco Theater. The production will now play through to April 28 instead of the previously announced March 17.

The production transferred to Broadway earlier this month after a sell-out run at London's National Theatre last year. The production's star, Bryan Cranston, won the Olivier award for Best Actor. With direction by the legendary Ivo van Hove, the play is adapted from Paddy Chayefsky's iconic screenplay by Lee Hall.

Alongside Cranston Network also stars Tatiana Maslany, Tony Goldwyn, Frank Wood, Joshua Boone, Alysaa Bresnahan and Ton Canada.

What is Network about?

A chilling black comedy, Network is the story of newsreader Howard Beale who becomes increasingly outraged with the way that proper 'news' is devolving into a circus. After being fired following ailing ratings, Beale's desperation leads him to deliver the rant of his career, threatening a bloody outcome to his final broadcast. Whilst planning his on-air suicide, ratings go sky high in this cautionary tale of anger and exploitation.

Network is currently playing at the Belasco Theater through to April 28.
