Wicked becomes 7th longest-running show in Broadway history
Stephen Schwartz's international juggernaut, Wicked, is celebrating becoming the 7th longest running show in Broadway history tonight. Surpassing the prevous title holder Oh! Calcutta!, Wicked will play its 5,960th perfromance at the 8pm showing on February 9th.
Wicked orginally opened on Broadway in 2003 and since then has performed in over 100 cities in 15 countries and has been translated into languages such as Japanese, German, Dutch, Spanish, Korean and Portugese!
